BSOD MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error

I'm running Windows 8.1 on a Lenovo T430s. I've recently been getting a lot of BSOD errors. They usually occur on restart, but recently it happened in the middle of me working on something. I have seen several different errors where the BSOD specifies the problem, but I can't remember them all. The latest was "MEMORY_MANAGEMENT." I've done a memory test in safe mode and checked to make sure my BIOS was up to date. No problems there. I also followed a tutorial to use driver verifier, which instructed me to test non Microsoft Corporation Drivers, restart the computer, and hope for another BSOD. I was a little iffy on what I was doing there.

I have attached the zip file created through the BSOD post instructions for this forum.

Hi Atoz1212 & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

I apologise for the delayed response but there are not many BSOD Analysts :( and we do get busy at times.
I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-

I have highlighted a driver in RED i.e. "wdcsam64.sys". This driver is very famous to cause BSOD's in many systems. I would suggest you to remove any Western Digital Software present on the system and also disable any services starting with WD or Western Digital. Once you do this, make sure to rename the driver as well by doing a manual search for the driver and then renaming it.

Also, there is a driver highlighted in BLUE. This driver has been blamed in your previous (older) dump files. I would suggest you to update that one as well. Links have been provided above for more information.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hey Blueelvis,
Thanks for the response. So are you saying I need to update and then rename the driver highlighted in red, or are you saying I need to delete the driver in red? For the driver highlighted in blue I understand you're saying to update it. FYI, I could not find a program or service that is from Western Digital or that starts with WD

@Atoz -

Why am I seeing Intel Gigabit Driver being re-installed again? o_O
Kindly do not remove drivers without being asked for as it could cause numerous problems.

So, are you still getting BSOD's?

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Procedure Explanation and more BSOD

Hey BlueElvis,
When I looked into the details of the WD SES Device, using the Device Manager, I noticed that was where the wdcsam64.sys driver was. I then deleted the Device (including the software for the device as shown by the check box). The next two screen shots only pertain to the e1c63x64.sys driver. I found this driver within the driver details of the network adapter shown (Intel®82579LM Gigabit Network Connection). I thought your instructions for this driver were to update it, not to delete it. Following this procedure I just recently received two more BSOD screens. I have attached the newest zip file from the dm log collector. Please let me know if I misunderstood your instructions or if there is a different method you would like me to follow. Thanks again for your help on this

fastboot.sys - this driver hasn't been added to the DRT as of this run. Please search Google/Bing for the driver if additional information is needed.

In the latest dump file, the NTFS.sys driver has been blamed and in the second one, there is an unidentified function call. I would suggest you perform the Hardware Diagnostics Over Here - Hardware Diagnostics . See if you are able to find any errors and report back the results.

If this does not help, kindly run the Driver Verifier according to this **GUIDE** and make sure that you let the system crash for few times and then re-run the Diagnostic Tool and upload the ZIP File.

Let me know how it goes ^_^
