BSOD 6 or 7 times, "Unexpected Kernel Trap Mode".

    Hi there!

I have new laptop, BSOD showed "Unexpected Kernel Trap Mode" 5 or 6 times when using Popcorn time (after this I uninstalled it) and uTorrent. Last time it happened while I was just surfing on internet. Involved were files Wdf01000.sys, Netio.sys, ntoskrnl.exe and others.

I followed instructions and in the attachment you can find the zip file with all needed informations (minidump etc..).

I don't have any idea how to fix this problem, so I'd really appreciate if anyone could help me. Thank you very much in advance for any help.

    Greetings!

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

There is only 1 memory dump in the uploaded reports, yet there are at least 7 BSOD crashes in the reports. Are you using a disk cleaning tool (like CCleaner)? If so, please do not use it while we're troubleshooting.

The memory dump blames the USBXHCI.sys driver. Try updating your Intel USB 3.0 drivers to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version from the Lenovo support website.

Please note that the Huwaei device is also USB - and it's older drivers could be causing problems with the USBXHCI.sys driver. Please update them to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version from the manufacturer's website.

Also, your Bluetooth drivers are dated from before Win8.1 was released. Win8 versions of bluetooth sometimes cause BSOD's in Win8.1 systems. Please update them to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version from the Lenovo support website.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

The drivers that are struckout don't have updates available (AFAIK).
DO NOT delete them, just leave them be.

Thank you very much for reply, Usasma!

Yes, actually I'm using unfortunately Ccleaner. I won't use it anymore till problem will be solved.

I'l try to find appropriate updates as you indicated and I'll write back how it goes. Anyway, I was planning to change this Huawei device to a brand new router very soon -so I think these drivers shouldn't be a big problem in the next future.

    Thank you again!
