Recently my laptop has been crashing and giving the error: irql_not_less_or_equal. I then used bluescreenview to see the problem and it gave me: ntoskrnl.exe. I would post the dump files but am unsure of how to do so, any help is greatly appreciated as this has been happening for the past 2 weeks.

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!

Do your still need help with this problem?

Thank you for replying, I have figured out why I am getting this error, but I have been getting another error much more frequently: DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION. The problem is that in bluescreen view, is says the problem is different each time for this error so it is difficult for me to solve alone as I have no expertise.

I have these suggestions while you're waiting for my next response:
1. Get ALL available updates from the system manufacturer's website. If you're unsure, update all of them!
2. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
3. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
4. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
