Good morning.

I am run into random blue screen while doing most anything. It seem to happen mainly while using Google Chrome. The computer is home built with new in stall of Windows 8.1 x64. The motherboard is ASRock Z87E-ITX

If I can give any more information on this to help, I will be happy to do so. I am a student so not doing much stressful to the computer.

Thank you very much,
:(

edit: I have run all current downloads from ASRock site again (but just did when new install of windows 8.1)

You ahve a usb device that is not looking for windows 8/8.1 usb drivers. What you need to do is update your bios.

Check on this list

ASRock > Z87E-ITX

Download the most recent driver/and also bios.

Thank you.

The driver application does want purchase of program, but the store never will load. Might there be lesser cost version, or another way to fix this?

Thank you again.

I have highlighted a driver in RED which is very famous to cause BSOD's. It is related to Western Digital Software. Kindly remove any Western Digital Software installed on your software and make sure that any services starting with "WD" or "Western Digital" are not running. Make sure they are disabled. If you do not find any of these, then please rename this driver by doing a manual search of the driver in your system.

It appears that you have disabled two devices i.e. Life Cam of Microsoft and Broadcom Network Adapter. May I know why?

Please remove RW Everything Read/Write from the system as well since the driver is old. If you can update it then please update it.

Update your NetGroup Packet Filter. If there is no update then please remove this software as well.

Could you please update your ASRock Chipset drivers and then see if you are still getting any BSOD's if you remove the USB devices connected to the system or not.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Thank you BlueElvis,

The Lifecam was disable due to always coming on when ever starting a game I played and I was tired or enable/disable of it.
The network adapter is disable due to having different adapter plugged in. The one plugged in is Netgear AC1750 and router is Netgear AC (something). I did not think two could run proper at same time so I disable.

All Western Digital files have been remove, too.

I was not able to find the RW Everything on computer, I could not find NetGroup Packet Filter either.
I have done flash to bios and update all chipset.

No blue screen yet.

Thank you so much. This is very helpful.
