    Windows 8 CP BSOD - DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION - HELP!


    I keep getting DCP_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION error.

    Attached are my minidump files.

    Thanks for help in advance !

    Edit: Whenever I play music with iTunes there is also a problem with freezing and automatic closing of iTunes...

    Hi and welcome. Ouch lots of bsods.

    0x133 Failures involving networking, tcpip.sys and netio.sys. Remove both AVG and Norton/Symantec in safe mode with their respective tools and you can thank me later. Enjoy.

    Reboot to normal mode, type services.msc in the start menu then press enter. Set the Windows Defender and Windows Firewall services to auto and start them too.

    haha yeah 3rd party security is always notorious, especially before those companies get some sort of their acts together while Windows version is in beta. Best to stay away from them, ESPECIALLY those two companies named.

    Even when a security product is well, it is always a bad idea to install more than one.
