I have been getting the infamous BSOD when restarting my laptop with the error message of "page fault in nonpaged area". I have a Toshiba Satellite laptop with an intel i3 2.40ghz processor, 6gb of ram and a 500gb hard drive.

It mostly happens when doing a system restart but occasionally happens
when booting up after the system has been shut down, I have uploaded the zip file that I got from running the SF Debug tool.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Tasdisr & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

I have analysed your dump files and below has been provided an analysis of the same for informative purposes :-
Code:
3: kd> k
Child-SP RetAddr Call Site
ffffd001`bfee9378 fffff800`fab8fa7f nt!KeBugCheckEx
ffffd001`bfee9380 fffff800`faa5f869 nt! ?? ::FNODOBFM::`string'+0x1c8cf
ffffd001`bfee9420 fffff800`fab6cf2f nt!MmAccessFault+0x7a9
ffffd001`bfee9560 fffff800`fab5217b nt!KiPageFault+0x12f
ffffd001`bfee96f8 fffff801`06a93a3f nt!_ascii_stricmp+0x17
ffffd001`bfee9700 00000000`00000000 [COLOR=#FF0000][B]epinject64[/B][/COLOR]+0x5a3f
This is present in every dump file of yours and is causing the problem. Furthermore this driver is very old and most likely not compatible with Windows 8.1 -
Code:
3: kd> lmvm epinject64
start end module name
fffff801`06a8e000 fffff801`06a9a080 epinject64 T (no symbols)
    Loaded symbol image file: epinject64.sys
    [B]Image path: \??\C:\PROGRA~2\EUROPA~1\ONLINE~1\epinject64.sys[/B]
    Image name: epinject64.sys
    Timestamp: Sun Mar 27 20:21:03 [COLOR=#0000FF][B]2011 [/B][/COLOR](4D8F4ED7)
    CheckSum: 000174F8
    ImageSize: 0000C080
    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

According to the above information, the driver is located in the Program Files in I think the Europa Game or is a part of the AOL Datamask. I would suggest you renaming this driver file by doing a manual system wide search. If the problem is not solved, uninstall the program having it.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Thanks, I believe the Europa is actually the name of a data and identity protection suite provided by our insurance company.
I will have to try removing it and see if that takes care of it.

Removing the data protection suite seems to have taken care of the issue. Thank You!
When I contacted their support after you had looked at the debug files the only thing they seemed concerned about is what browser I am using.

I did point them to this thread and they want to open a service ticket to help me to resolve the problem. However I think just removing the program is the best bet.

Thanks again for your help!
