Hi!

I have a BSOD problem... so, I'm getting this DPC_Watchdog_Violation BSOD randomly... I have a clean installed Win8CP and dual boot (I decided to leave my Windows 7 just in case of something like this).

I have no idea what could be causing this, and how to fix it...

It happens randomly (as I already said) and my computer freezes, and then shows the BSOD and restarts. Sometimes it doesnt show the BSOD at all, sometimes it freezes and shows it after 10-20 minutes or so... just random...

My computer specs are filled in my profile info. For more detailed info, click here.

If you need anything else, just ask!

Thank you in advance.

-Alex

Hi there.

We'll straighten it out easily. Please run the tool in the top most thread of this subforum, then attach the zip it makes here, to a new post.

Alternatively, Take Ownership of C:\Windows\Minidump then copy the files in there to any other folder. Zip or rar the files then attach here.

BSOD Problem

Hello,

I have the same problem for about a week but did not have time to deal with it up until now. I am getting the DPC_Watchdog_Violation occasionally when my computer is inactive. After several minutes of inactivity I am getting the blue screen with this error and a huge sad face...funny W8. Anyways I followed this thread and I think I got the needed files to send to you with the SF diagnostic tool. I am running a new Windows 8 it has been only a couple of months now. I will attatch the file here, thanks in advance.
