Solved BSOD daily, within around 20 mins of waking PC from sleep

I'm being cursed by BSODs in Win 8.1. It started around the beginning of September. Usually within 20 minutes after the PC's been asleep, it'll just crash. I don't have to be doing anything: I may for example just have Firefox open, but without me doing anything, it just blue screens in front of me at around that time. Once it's rebooted, it may blue screen again almost immediately, and not necessarily with the same error message. Once that's rebooted, generally it'll be fine for the rest of the day.

The error on the blue screen is not always the same one: there've been a handful of BAD POOL HEADERs, a SYSTEM PTE MISUSE, a KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE, some MEMORY MANAGEMENT failures, a DRIVER IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL, and today, a SYSTEM EXIT OWNED MUTEX.

I've run sfc /scannow. Initially this found a few problems that it couldn't fix. I ran Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth, which told me it had successfully fixed component store corruption. I re-ran sfc /scannow and it then found no issues.

chkdsk /f finds no issues.
Memtestx86 finds no issues.
Driver Booster has been run, and all drivers are up-to-date.
All Windows updates up-to-date as of today.

So now before I resort to flattening and reinstalling Windows, I'm asking for help. I've attached the zip per the forum instructions.

System is AMD Phenom II X4 810 2.6 Ghx
8GB DDR3
Asus M4A785TD-EVO motherboard
Mushkin SSD (C: drive)
Western Digital 1TB HDD (D: drive)
AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics
Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center x64
Kaspersky Internet Security v14
Firefox 32.0.2 browser of choice
MS Office 2013

All suggestions gratefully accepted...

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard. If possible, use the "inside Windows" flash mechanism (if your OEM provides one).

Out of 10 memory dumps there were 6 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Please start with these hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

AMD OverDrive (AODDriver2.sys) is either a stand-alone application, or a component of the AMD VISION Engine Control Center. This driver is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.
NOTE: these symptoms were from the previous release of OverDrive. The new release uses the same driver name, but is dated from 4 November 2013.
Please un-install all AMD/ATI video stuff from Control Panel...Programs...Un-install a program
Then, download (but DO NOT install) a fresh copy of the ATI drivers from Global Provider of Innovative Graphics, Processors and Media Solutions | AMD (in the upper right corner of the page)
Use this procedure to install the DRIVER ONLY: ATI video cards - DRIVER ONLY installation procedure - Sysnative Forums

If the device (AODDriver or AODDriver4.01) remains a problem, open Device Manager, select the "View" item.
Then select "Show hidden devices" and scroll down to the Non-Plug and Play Drivers section.
Locate the AODDriver entry, right click on it and select "Un-install". Reboot for changes to take affect.
Sometimes the driver remains and continues to cause BSOD's. If this is the case for you, post back and we'll give further instructions for safely removing it.

If overclocking, please stop. Remove the overclock and return the system to stock/standard values while we're troubleshooting. Once the system is stable again, feel free to resume the overclocking.

Signs of MalwareBytes AntiExploit in the dumps - this is unusual as I haven't seen it before.
If you're sure that your system is fully protected (Kaspersky is fully up to date and scanning your system), then I'd suggest uninstalling the AntiExploit program. To update Kaspersky, go to your country's site and get product updates (here's the UK site: Download Product Updates & Patches | Kaspersky Lab GB ) Then make sure that your definitions are updated and that you perform a vulnerability scan.

Your WinPcap libraries date from 2007 (npf_devolo.sys) Either update it to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version - or uninstall it immediately.

SuperAntiSpyware dates from 2011, please uninstall it.

BlackGold Technology Capture Driver (BGTCap64.sys) dates from 2011, please uninstall it.

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

The drivers that are [DEL]struckout[/DEL] don't have updates available (AFAIK).
DO NOT delete them, just leave them be.

Arg4: ffffe001b9b90037, Reserved
The reference count of an object is illegal for the current state of the object.
Each time a driver uses a pointer to an object the driver calls a kernel routine
to increment the reference count of the object. When the driver is done with the
pointer the driver calls another kernel routine to decrement the reference count.
Drivers must match calls to the increment and decrement routines. This bugcheck
can occur because an object's reference count goes to zero while there are still
open handles to the object, in which case the fourth parameter indicates the number
of opened handles. It may also occur when the object?s reference count drops below zero
whether or not there are open handles to the object, and in that case the fourth parameter
contains the actual value of the pointer references count.

usasma, many thanks for going to the trouble.

As a result of reading your analysis, I have removed AODDrive.sys (by uninstalling Catalyst Control Center, and reinstalling only the display drivers).
I've uninstalled Malwarebytes Anti Exploit - it supposedly protects against ransom attacks such as Cryptolocker - but if you're happy that Kaspersky is enough, then fine. Kaspersky is fully up-to-date and there are no issues reported.
I've updated the WinPcap libraries from the linked page.
Super Anti Spyware isn't from 2011; it's the most up-to-date version available. But I'll uninstall and reinstall it.
Blackgold capture driver is the latest available.

I'll start to go through everything else when I can and post back if the problem remains. Wouldn't you know that today, for the first time in a week, the system's behaved perfectly!

Cheers.

I have MalwareBytes AntiExploit on my system also, but I'm not having BSOD's (and I don't have Kaspersky either)
Once the system is stabilized, feel free to reinstall it.
The Kaspersky scanner isn't resident in memory, so I'd prefer the MalwareBytes over the Kaspersky (as long as they don't interfere with each other).

While the other drivers may be the latest available, if they're not compatible w/Win8.1 then there may be problems.
Check WinPcap, SuperAntiSpyware, and Blackgold to ensure that your version is 8.1 compatible.

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

An update to this. I removed SAS and BGTCap64.sys. I contacted BlackGold, who did have a Windows 8 driver that they emailed me so I tried that - blue screens continued.

So I thought it may be easier to flatten and reinstall Windows, which I did. Next morning: blue screen in MEMORY_MANAGEMENT. The following day: another one in MEMORY_MANAGEMENT.

So I opened the PC up. It was pretty full of dust. I removed it all, and took out the RAM - 4 x 2Gb sticks - and reseated them in the opposite order. And I'm now nearly a week blue screen free. So in the end it seems to have been hardware related and a simple cleanup/RAM reseat would have saved me a day of formatting and reinstalling.

Either way, it looks like I got there in the end.

Yep.
Cleaning often is good.
Running sfc & dism is good too.
Chkdisk too.
Defrag.

Virus scan.
Reboot once in a while.
