Windows 8.1 Crashing while playing online games

My computer has been crashing mostly while playing Guild Wars 2 and Archeage. It will crash, go to a weird colored screen, and I have to manually shut it off. I did a memtest and everything checked out, and I also tried switching the power supply out with one that wasn't having any problems and that didn't work either. I've also tried playing the games on the lowest settings and it still doesn't really help. Any help would be appreciated.

How is your video card for playing these games, drivers up to date ? Does it meet the specs of the games and PSU ?
Any problems with software or do you play any other games not online ? Network adapter drivers up to date ?

My video card is pretty good and my specs meet the requirements for everything I play. I haven't had any problems with offline games (I beat crysis 3 the other day). All of my drivers seem to be up to date as well. I'm not quite sure about it, but even though the fps doesn't drop, it seems to crash more when I'm around players, even when it's only a few.

o.k. i am not really qualified to answer in BSOD thread i realized. But when you say drivers seem to be up to date, does not sound positive. Check you Video card manufacturer's web page for most up to date, won't hurt. Either AMD or NVIDIA.

jds63 - everyone is welcome to help out here. If you'd like to learn about BSOD's, then helping here is the way to get the experience! Welcome!

iVirus - there's only 1 memory dump (from 25 Aug) in the uploaded files.

Your BIOS dates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard. If possible, use the "inside Windows" flash mechanism (if your OEM provides one).

Beyond this, as there was only 1 memory dump in the upload, I have these 3 suggestions:
1. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
2. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
3. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
