I've had this problem for a few days now and I've been trying to figure out how to fix it, but I'm beat. Here's my SF_Diagnosis logs if anyone wants to look at them, thanks!

Anyways, I get the BSOD whenever I shutdown or restart my computer, which it'll then restart my computer. In order to turn it off, I have to hold the power button.

Bump!

Also, an update to the problem. I think I've ruled out it being a hardware issue. I shuffled my RAM and used each stick in each of my four slots, still results in me getting the BSOD when I shutdown or restart. Then I ran memtest for about 4 hours with 4 passes, came back with no errors.

Please zip up and upload your files to this forum - not to Google Drive.
It takes me a long time to figure out how to download 34 individual files and I really don't have the time for it (I finally figured out that I had to import it to my Google drive and then download the entire folder from there).

Please update the UEFI/BIOS of your Gigabyte board. I have recently found a couple of instances where the problem was caused by an outdated UEFI/BIOS. If possible, please use the built in Gigabyte update tool to update the UEFI/BIOS.

You have a NETGEAR A6200 USB WiFi Adapter:
I do not recommend using wireless USB network devices. Especially in Win8/8.1 systems.
These wireless USB devices have many issues with Win7 and later - using Vista drivers with them is almost sure to cause a BSOD.
Should you want to keep using these devices, be sure to have Win8/8.1 drivers - DO NOT use Vista drivers!!!
An installable wireless PCI/PCIe card that's plugged into your motherboard is much more robust, reliable, and powerful.

This device has problems in Device Manager:
Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub USB\VID_045B&PID_0210\5&13A74B18&0&20 43
Code 43: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. Please ensure that you have updated your chipset and USB 3.0 drivers from the Gigabyte website.

Lot's of Live Kernel Events in the WER section of MSINFO32. Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here: Windows Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

One of the memory dumps in the WER section of MSINFO32 blames USB Audio. Do you have such a device? If so, have you updated the drivers to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version? If not, please do so now - USB Audio tends to have problems with outdated drivers.

Please remove TrueCrypt - it has security holes and is no longer supported: TrueCrypt

Please uninstall Gigabyte EasyTune (and EasySaver if it's installed) - they are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems.

Please uninstall the Gigabyte On/Off Charger (USBCharger.sys/AppleCharger.sys) as it is blamed in many of the memory dumps.

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Came with the laptop (i7 of some sort)
    Motherboard
Pretty sure that it has one, but haven't checked inside the case!
    Memory
upgraded to 12 gB from 8 gB
    Graphics Card(s)

Please zip up and upload your files to this forum - not to Google Drive.
It takes me a long time to figure out how to download 34 individual files and I really don't have the time for it (I finally figured out that I had to import it to my Google drive and then download the entire folder from there).

Please update the UEFI/BIOS of your Gigabyte board. I have recently found a couple of instances where the problem was caused by an outdated UEFI/BIOS. If possible, please use the built in Gigabyte update tool to update the UEFI/BIOS.

...

I ****ing love you man. I followed all your directions and it's now fixed! I uninstalled a bunch of things too, disabled some services etc. I wish I knew what caused it..
