BSOD everyday when i played games or checking websites

I have re installed the Window8 Pro completely, it is still not helped for BSOD. It happened frequently everytime when i played Guild Wars 2. I did not overclock at all, even if i want to. I used to overclock before when i used the same specs PC and never had any problem at all, somehow oneday i updated my graphic cards ,then it started to BSOD.

    MY PC Specs
    CPU: i5 2500K
    Motherboard:GA-Z68XP-UD3P (rev. 1.3)
    RAM: corsair vengeance 1600 8gb
GPU: HIS HD7970 Ghz Edition IceQ X2

EDit: THe HDD raid 0 (Primary) and my SSD Raid 0 as well. not sure if it is also caused BSOD.

I would love to hear you guys can help me to solve this problem. I was even thinking to build another PC instead, but the budgets is quite tight and i need my pc fix asps cos im starting my uni soon.

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

Update your UEFI from the Gigabyte website

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum): Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions Please use Option 1 as it provides Event Viewer logs.

Out of the last 10 memory dumps there were 10 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
    - borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
    - BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
    - overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
    - missing Windows Updates
    - compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
    - low-level driver problems
    - or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Beyond this I have these 3 suggestions:
    1. Get ALL available Windows Updates. It may take several trips to get them all
    2. Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
    3. If all of the hardware tests pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

I have updated the things that you told me to update the Corsair Keyboard and the management interfere, somehow it is still BSOD. Showing like System service exception or irql_not_less_or_equal or bad pool header recently like few hours ago. I have tried to used option 1 to give you the best i could, but i could not use SF_Diagnostic_Tool due to the need of .NEt framework 3.5. ANd i have tried many way from internet to install it, but it stuck 65.9% and stopped. so do you have any suggestion to have another way to give you the event log ? I have checked the event log and it showed all the critical are Kernel Power Event ID 41 Task category (63) .

Do you think i should buy a new motherboard and ram cards will able to fix these kind of issues?

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

This may be a hardware problem. As such, replacing parts will most likely fix it - BUT - I don't know which (if any) parts are involved. You must run the hardware diagnostics in order to help figure this out: Hardware Diagnostics

As you also have .NET installation problems, which decreases the likelihood of this being a hardware problem.

The Event ID 41 errors are Critical errors - but they simply mean that Windows doesn't know why it shut down unexpectedly. A review of the Event Viewer logs (especially the Admin log) will sometimes show patterns that can help figure this out.

Here are 4 things to do in order to get the reports that I use:
    1) Upload Dump Files:
NOTE: If using a disk cleaning utility, please stop using it while we are troubleshooting your issues.
Please go to C:\Windows\Minidump and zip up the contents of the folder. Then upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Left click on the first minidump file.
Hold down the "Shift" key and left click on the last minidump file.
Right click on the blue highlighted area and select "Send to"
Select "Compressed (zipped) folder" and note where the folder is saved.
Upload that .zip file with your next post.

If you have issues with "Access Denied" errors, try copying the files to your desktop and zipping them up from there. If it still won't let you zip them up, post back for further advice.

If you don't have anything in that folder, please check in C:\Windows for a file named MEMORY.DMP. If you find it, zip it up and upload it to a free file hosting service. Then post the link to it in your topic so that we can download it.

Also, search your entire hard drive for files ending in .dmp, .mdmp, and .hdmp. Zip up any that you find and upload them with your next post.

Then, follow the directions here to set your system for Minidumps (much smaller than the MEMORY.DMP file): Set MiniDumpMore info on dump file options here: Overview of memory dump file options for Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7, and Windows Server 2008 R2

    2) MSINFO32:
Please go to Start and type in "msinfo32.exe" (without the quotes) and press Enter
Save the report as an .nfo file, then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.
Also, save a copy as a .txt file and include it also (it's much more difficult to read, but we have greater success in getting the info from it).

If you're having difficulties with the format, please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "msinfo32 /nfo %USERPROFILE%\Desktop\TEST.NFO" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the TEST.NFO file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. Then zip up the .nfo file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

    3) systeminfo:
Please open an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt and type (or copy/paste) "systeminfo.exe >%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\systeminfo.txt" (without the quotes) and press Enter. Then navigate to Desktop to retrieve the syteminfo.txt file. If you have difficulties with making this work, please post back. Then zip up the .txt file and upload/attach the .zip file with your next post.

    4) Please do the following:
    - open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
    - expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
    - right click on Administrative Events
    - select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
    - save the file as Admin.evtx
    - zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
    - upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

FYI - If we're looking for Event ID 41 errors (unexplained shutdowns), there's more info on that here: Windows Kernel event ID 41 error "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first" in Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows 7, or Windows Server 2008 R2

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
Remove the ArcSoft Media program(s) as at least one of it's drivers dates from 2006 and is likely not compatible w/Win8.1

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

I have removed the ArcSoft Media program. I also did the 4things that you need for.

This is the memory dump download link.
    Download file MEMORY.DMP

I really dont like Window8 or window8.1 . it is too easy to get BSOD.
Do you think Window7 is better for overclocking or stable platform? I have seen a lot of ppl are using WIndow7 for review or overclocking.

I noticed one thing is whenever i want to update to WIndow8.1, it is quite easily to get BSOD. Lets see if you can find out what hardware got a problem.

How much overclocking, what do your CPU temperatures look like under gaming loads?

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

Have you performed the hardware diagnostics that I asked for? If not, here's the link again: Hardware Diagnostics Start with the video tests as I suspect a problem with the video.

I have been working with BSOD's since the XP days. IMO Win8 and 8.1 are much more stable (and get less BSOD's) than any of the previous Windows OS's. But, this is of little comfort to one that's experiencing the large number of BSOD's that you are (50 in less than a month!)

Out of 50 memory dumps there were at least 9 different BSOD error codes.

Only 135 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 170 to 190 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).
If you are having problems getting Windows Updates, please post over in the Windows Updates & Activation forum for assistance from the experts there.

Recently I have seen a number of problems with outdated UEFI/BIOS in Gigabyte motherboards causing problems (to include BSOD's).
Please use the Gigabyte update utility to update your UEFI/BIOS to the latest available version.
Your Z68 series motherboard is currently using version F7 which dates from Feb of 2012

You have 5 hard drives. What is the make/model/wattage and age of your Power Supply?

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

I already did update Windows Updates, there is no more new updates available. I also got 9 passed with no error from Memtest86+ and hard drive test with no problem at all. I also did the video FurMark strees test and ran perfectly. There is a recently blue screen again today, you can download the mini dump from here and check it out.

The Power Supply that I am using is Corsair HX1000 nearly 3-4 years old and there is no problem at all with my 5 hard drives and other hardware. The 5 hard drive that im using is 2x WDC WD20EARX raid 0 for performance and 2 ssd M4- CT128M4SSD2 raid 0 and other 1 is WD CD20EARS. Do you think there is a problem with my powersupply or motherboard?

Im not sure is that normal when i checked the device manager the display adapters shows AMD radeon R9 200series, but somehow im using the HIS HD7970 ghz editon, but i did download the right video driver 14.4 version.

What else can i do with my pc again

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

I'm not a PSU expert, but I do know that they do tend to deteriorate with age.
A test would be to disconnect a couple of hard drives and any other non-essential components that are drawing power - and see if that slows the BSOD's down.
Otherwise, post over in the Drivers & Hardware forum for more expert assistance: Drivers & Hardware - Windows 8 Forums

To check the video adapter naming issue:
    - download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers for your video card
    - uninstall the current video drivers
    - install the freshly downloaded video drivers
    - then check to see if the name is correct now.

You still must remove (uninstall) these drivers. If you are having problems with them, please post back and we'll try to remove them manually.
DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Once the drivers are removed, if the BSOD's continue please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Depending on the results of Driver Verifier, we may have to move on to the hardware stripdown in order to try and isolate the problem device. Here's a link to it so you can see what I'm talking about: Hardware Stripdown Troubleshooting
