Driver Verifier does extra stuff to the drivers in order to stress them - so slowdowns are to be expected.

We'll wait and see what the results of the diagnostics are.
    Good luck!
The drive will probably arrive monday or tuesday.
Prime95 ran successfully for 20 hours.
Still no crash - it's harder than I thought it would be. Current uptime with driver verifier is 41 hours.

Turn Driver Verifier off - the likelihood of getting a crash with it isn't good at this point.
I'm more suspicious of the hard drive (which won't throw a Driver Verifier error if I'm correct).

FWIW - Driver Verifier is working to cause a driver crash. The instructions were for it to stress the 3rd party drivers.
This implies that the 3rd party drivers didn't have any significant problems - so it generally rules out a problem with the 3rd party drivers.

This leaves hardware problems and Windows problems as the likely causes.
Just FYI - here's how I do BSOD analysis':
    - first I rule out 3rd party drivers (over 90% of BSOD's are due to this)
    - then I rule out hardware (less than 10% of BSOD's are due to this)
    - then I look at Windows problems (less than 1% of BSOD's are due to this - as long as Windows Updates are fully up to date).

But, unfortunately, there isn't a hard and fast separation between each cause. There are 3rd party drivers that can cause errors that look like hardware or Windows errors. And, for example, one of those is the Comodo Firewall (which it appears that you have installed). FWIW - I don't suspect the Comodo Firewall at this point, but we can't rule it out completely at this point.

Thanks a lot for all the help you've provided so far. I'd like to think that updating my BIOS and older drivers actually solved this issue. But I guess that would be too good to be true.
The biggest problem here is how unpredictable those BSODs are, it might even take a whole month until I get one again.
I guess there's nothing else to do now, but to wait for the new drive to arrive. Still I doubt it's in any way related to the drive.

That's what we do - we fix/update everything that we can, then we wait and see if the BSOD's return.
    Good luck!
