No, better than facing pink screen is to fix it properly. It is not a problem with NVIDIA drivers.

People post the wildest things on the internet. Best not to believe them all.

Install latest Flash, clear LSOs, then install latest Win 7 NVIDIA driver for posterity after using Driver Sweeper in safe mode, would be a good start.

Download Flash Player 11.2.202.235 (Non-IE) - FileHippo.com <<< All versions shown in "Related downloads"

    AdobeClearFlash

    Phyxion.net - Driver Sweeper

    Nvidia GeForce 301.40 Beta 32-bit download from Guru3D.com << 32 bit NVIDIA

    Nvidia GeForce 301.40 Beta 64-bit download from Guru3D.com << 64 bit NVIDIA

Latest bios for motherboard should also be installed and then after, Optimized Defaults set in it.

Any junky software which installs drivers should be uninstalled. Any camera drivers should be updated to latest. Any VNC type of software should be uninstalled, to test.

Since you've already removed TeamViewer as per the other thread I helped you in, I would not at all be surprised to learn this pink screen issue is already solved for you without you having known it yet.

    Same here, GTX 560.
Generally I can still move my mouse, with some graphical artifacts following it horizontally.
Then it comes back to normal, and says the drivers stopped responding. Sometimes I get a BSOD as a follow-up.
This seems to happen more when I'm using less GPU-intensive applications (browsing the web, etc).
I can't post a screenshot, it is only captured the first frame after the problem. I'm having another problem with Windows 8 so I can't even take a photo.

Cool. That will help us fix this up shortly. You can run the tool in the top thread (and its linked thread) of this subforum. Attach the zip it shows how to make to a new post here, and I'll see what I can do.

Uninstall Avast in safe mode with the special tool, reboot, set Windows Defender and Windows Firewall services to Auto and start them too.

    Enjoy.
