Windows 8 crashes after it wakes up from sleep mode

I've actually had this problem for a while, I really should have taken care of it sooner. It is mostly because I found ways around it, which probably aren't too good for my computer. If I leave music running in the background and put the computer to sleep then the error won't occur. Needless-to-say - and as the title says- The system crashes upon waking up from sleep mode. The screen turns blue and says: "Sorry, your computer encountered an error and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you" The results from the diagnostic test have been attached

System recoveries and restores haven't worked, hence the reason why I've sort of given up on the problem until now. I'll be thankful with any sort of help!

Hi Kaebuscus & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

Unfortunately the ZIP file uploaded by you does not contain any Dump files to analyze and lacks certain other reports as well

Please follow the instructions carefully over here :-
Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) Posting Instructions

    and follow the Option 1.

Make sure you let the app run for at least 15 minutes or till it says that it has completed it's work.

ah whoops. Well I did it again, it all seems dandy but then it gave me an error /)n(\

Its in the FAQ on the instructions page but it doesn't really explain how to fix it. But when I go to the file destination it looks like this.
    Attachment 50743

I think its the host and Driver list tabs that are causing it. Regardless I'll still attach what I have in case it still works. I also did option two, I wasn't sure if that was just as effective as one, but I'll have that attached as well.

    Hi Kaebuscus ^_^,

I am extremely sorry for the late response

Unfortunately, both the the ZIP files do not contain any dump files. You would have to manually ZIP them up and upload to a file hoster like OneDrive or Dropbox.

Please go to this path - "C:\Windows\Minidumps" and see if there are any dumps or not. If there are, then please zip them up and upload. Note that you might need to copy the dump files to some other folder first before you could zip them up due to permission issues.

Also, is there any presence of the file - "C:\Windows\Memory.DMP" ?

Don't worry. No trouble you are giving me ^_^.

Could you please search for "*.dmp" file in the C: drive? Most likely there would be a dump file in that.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

    Hi Kaebuscus the medic

Is TF2 still interesting? These dump files are not the ones I am looking for, but I think these could cause the system to crash. It is most likely because of the NVIDIA Streaming Service. An analysis of the same has been given below :-
    Code:
    0:000> !analyze -v*******************************************************************************
    *                                                                             *

Please follow the below steps to disable the NVIDIA Streaming Service :-

    1. Press Start(Windows Button)+R to open the RUN Prompt.
    2. Type in "services.msc" (without the quotes) and press Enter.
    3. A services window will open. In the list, find the service named as "NVIDIA Streaming Service".
    4. Once found, Right Click on it and click on Properties.
    5. Once the properties window is opened, under the Startup Type Dropdown, select DISABLED.
    6. Once it is done, click on OK and then restart the system.

Heh, the Game has gotten old to me but I still love all the comics, animations, and just characters over all. I Just recentally cosplayed medic at comic con as well !

But anyways, I did as you said and unfortunately it didnt work Is there anyway it could be a hardware issue?

I'm not quite sure where to find any other dump files, theyre not in %systemroot%/Minidump

I did a little bit further investigating. I went back to system properties and turned off automatic restart after the crash, also tweaked with the (mini) dump locations/types.

Well when it crashed again, it came up with this as usual
    Attachment 51202
Normally, since it was on automatic restart, it would simply flash this then restart, not giving me enough time to read it. This lead me to believe that you know, maybe it didnt give it enough time to collect the error files. So i let it sit for a while, and it still remained at 0% Needless to say, still no dump files being written

Also, I'm not sure if this is any help to you, but it wont hurt to add. Maybe a month ago, when it went to sleep and i woke it up, it didn't crash. But anything related to windows wasnt function. It wouldnt let me go to the start menu unless I pressed the button on my computer, and the search function wouldnt pop up if I moved my mouse to the right of the screen. So could it be something wrong with windows?

After I disabled NVIDIA streaming, and crash automatic restart, my computer has gotten REALLY slow. Sigh
