Solved BSOD USBXHCI.SYS on Windows 8.1

So while trying to install a driver for my internet connexion on my new computer, internet connectionn that uses a USB port, I run on this problem. So the installation goes just fine, but when at the end, where the drivers strat installing, the PC gives me a BSOD no matter how I try: regular installation, copying drivers files from a PC on which internet is working (this PC, working on Windows 7)...And now I'm just hopless. The full message is: Driver_irql_not_less_or_equal (USBXHCI.SYS).
The specs of the other PC (notebook):
Asus X552L
Nvidia Geforce 820m
Intel core i5
4Gb RAM
2 3.0 USB ports
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro
The notebook is brand new. Please answer, I'm runnig short of time. Thanks in advance.

Get ALL available Windows Updates
Get ALL available driver updates from the Asus website
Perform a clean boot ( How to perform a clean boot in Windows ) and then try to install the latest, Win8.1 compatible version of the internet connection software (get it from the manufacturer's website).

Meh, you know what, I just switched back to Windows 7 and solved the problem, even though it's a pity because the notebook was optimized for Windows 8. Thanks anyway. I'll mark it as solved.
