Windows 8.1 BSOD on wakeup after sleep PFN_LIST_CORRUPT

This has been happening for a while but it only ever happens after wake-up from sleep and it's back up again in 5 seconds flat so it's never bothered me too much.

If I catch the error I believe it's PFN_LIST_CORRUPT. Running Windbg on the minidumps gives a range of causes, memory_corruptions, fileinfo.sys, ntkrnlmp.exe

Apparently this is either bad memory or driver. I ran memtester86 for 8 passes and my memory came up clear so I'm thinking bad drivers. I followed the instructions for driver verifier but unfortunately my system will BSOD when booting with DRIVER VERIFIER IO MANAGER VIOLATION error so I have to enter safe mode and disable it.

Brief specs:
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770K CPU @ 3.50GHz, 3501 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
System Model Z87X-UD3H
Memory 16GB Kingston DDR3
GTX 780 Ti
Windows 8.1 Version 6.3.9600 Build 9600

I have attached 2 minidumps, one is a "regular" BSOD and the other is what I get when booting with driver verifier enabled. If anyone could take a look that would be great.

Unfortunately, there is not much in the Dump files just that the Driver Verifier sent some bogus packets to a driver and it tried to processed which caused the BSOD. Could you please post the SF Diagnostic ZIP File (Option 1) by following these instructions?

http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html

Please make sure that you let the program run for atleast 15 minutes or till the time it says Finished. Please start with these free Hardware Diagnostics over **HERE**. Please skip the Memtest as you have already done that.

Let me know how it goes ^_^

Hi blueelvis, thanks for the reply. Zip file is attached as requested. My hard disk actually died a few weeks ago and this is a fresh install so should be good on the malware front. Temperatures seem ok from CPU/GPU-Z. Thanks again,

It appears that you have 3 fixed Hard Disks, make sure that you have sufficient Power Supply.

Please make sure that the firmware of your SSD is up to date. Check this **LINK** for the firmware update.

Also, what was the result of the Hardware Diagnostic Tools? Please run the Driver Verifier once again and make sure you let it crash for few times and then upload those dump files so those could be analyzed again.

Which of your disk died btw?

Thanks for the reply - if I skip the memory diagnostics on that site it just leaves me with the hard-disk page which directs me to the Samsung site. I installed the Samsung Magician app and upgraded the firmware on my non-OS SSD, (os drive was already latest). All showing healthy apart from that. It actually seemed to be behaving itself, no BSOD for over a week and then just this morning about 10 minutes after waking up from sleep it crashed with "KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE" error :(

If I turn on Driver Verifier my machine bluescreens at boot unless I enter safe-mode - do you need minidumps of these booting blue-screens? Thanks much.

Hello Onkeh ^_^,

I would be needing a freshly generated SF Diagnostic ZIP File to analyze. Please upload a fresh copy of the ZIP file in your next post :)
