I have a lenovo g580 running windows 8 and every time I turn on my pc, it attempts to run automatic repair but then stops and goes into the BSOD of Recovery, I get the error code 0xc0000185 at first and then when i put in my repair disc/usb device (tried both) nothing works and then i get the message: The application or operating couldn't be loaded because a required file is missing or contains errors File:\windows\system32\winload.efi Error code:0xc000000f,etc. I dont have any installation media so do I need to get one and to make matters worse whenever I press F8 to go to startup settings nothing happens, same with pressing esc to go into UEFI Firmware settings, so basically I can't enter BIOS. TY for taking the time to read this and for your help if any.:D

In the mean time I downloaded windows 8.1 enterprise evaluation and burnt the iso file ont a disc and tried it to see if it would give the same affect as a windows 8 install disc, and nothing changed, I was hoping you can tell me what specifically is the disc I need so I hope i bought the right one lol

So everything was working fine then I updated my pc and it restarts then the same problem comes up again and I still cant enter UEFI settings/bios unlike before so i have recovery software and I'm back to where I was before , everything would be solved if i can just change the boot up order to cd, idk how to force it into bios or to boot up from a cd first because I apparently can't with windows 8/lenovo g580. Any help is appreciated, plz and ty.:D
