Multiple, seemingly random BSOD on Windows 8.1 Pro

The most recent was a IRQL_not_less_than_or_equal_to, but over time there have been SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTIONS, KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED and a few others.

This is a Toshiba laptop with 32 GB of memory, a toshiba 256GB SSD and two crucial m500 960 GB SSD. I have updated the Crucials to version M05 of the firmware (latest) some time ago and the crashes are continuing.

Crashed appear to happen randomly, I can be just trying away and I get a BSOD or the machine can be idling overnight and when I get up it has restarted. When it crashed it does not always restart (sometimes hangs at 100%).

This has been going on for a while and I have been busy, so I have just lived with it, but if someone could help me work out how to fix it I would appreciate it.

I would also appreciate a pointer to how to learn how to do this for myself. It is frustrating to be so helpless.

    Thanks

    Richard
p.s. Have downloaded the Windows Debugger but from my point of view it has been less than helpful

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

How did you manage to cram 3 SSD's into a laptop computer?
Are any of them connected using USB?

D: drive only has about 6% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

Out of the last 14 memory dumps there were 6 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
    - borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
    - BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
    - overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
    - missing Windows Updates
    - compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers), older systems, or even pirated systems
    - low-level driver problems
    - or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please update your Kaspersky to the latest version (US link here: Software Upgrades ) Search for software upgrades if you purchased it in another country.

Visit the Toshiba website and get ALL available drivers for Win8.1
You may not find one for GEARAspiWDM.sys - as this seems to be the latest version on the web
Beyond that, ensure that all of your programs are updated for Win8.1 also.

Finally, if the hardware diagnostics all pass, then run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

No, this is a Toshiba P70 custom built 17".

It has a 256 GB mSTAT as its boot drive, with Windows 8.1 Pro pre-installed, then it came with two 750 GB rotating HD internally (SATA) which is swapped out for two 960 GB SSD.

    Done

Beyond that, you have given me quite a few things to work on, so I will grind through them and see what I find

Multiple, seemingly random BSOD on Windows 8.1 Pro

Hello, Have repeatedly gotten BSOD while in use. Usually not while playing games, but browsing the web or working out of excel. Sager NP8265 (Clevo P150SM) 16GB Ram W8.1 64-bit i7-4700MQ Ran a BlueScreenViewer and seems ntoskrnl.exe+ 150aa0 is a major culprit along with hal.dll.
Solved Seemingly random BSOD & crashes in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
This is a new system running Windows 8.1. I have been having seemingly random BSOD and crashes. I disconnected a 2T USB backup drive and BSODs have slowed, but not disappeared. BSODs happen most often when waking the system, which seems to take far longer than it should. Error message vary. The...
Seemingly random BSOD's in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
Hello, I have been experiencing several BSOD's while doing pretty much anything on my computer. The last few errors were: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA (win32k.sys) SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (dxgmms1.sys) SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (win32k.sys) There were more, but I can't remember...
So basically my system is crashing at seemingly random points (games, desktop, programs...anytime) even though the system appears to be ok. I've updated all drivers, ran memtest, even ran prime95 (was oc'ing recently but the crashes were happening before that) and everything checks out. My...
Hi all, New to the forums, first post as I had looked through other threads to try and fix a problem I have been having, and it looks like a lot of people here are quite knowledgeable on these issues. System is as follows: ASUS M4A87TD/USB3 AMD Phenom II X4 B55 3.6GHz 4 x 2GB Geil DDR3...
I'm completely stumped and I don't know how to read error codes very well. I'm using an HP Pavilion dv7 laptop with core i7 processor. I recently upgraded to a ocz vertex 4 SSD because I thought maybe my old HDD was going bad and I wanted the speed bump anyway. The system ran pretty stable for a...
Seemingly Random BSODs in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
Hey everyone, Not sure what's going on, but I've had a few BSODs. As far as I can tell, I haven't noticed any one thing I'm doing at the time of the crashes. I ran Memtest 86+ for 17 passes with no errors, and chkdsk came back fine. Core Temps says that, at my highest, I'm running about 40 C,...
