I'm trying to get the PC stable - currently, I'm using this as a media PC and using some software (DVBLogic) which isn't running properly. I'm trying to do a health check and track down any causes (the DVBLogic service hangs after a resume from standby).
There was an error which said memory was being corrupted after a resume which could be the cause (Event ID 12) "The platform firmware has corrupted memory across the previous power transition. Please check for updated firmware for your system".
Well, this is an Asus P5E so the chances of Asus doing squat about that are remote. I switched the system to use hibernation instead of suspend to ram, and that "appears" to have cured that error [EDIT: No, it didn't cure it, it's done it again today after a resume from hibernation]. However, the problem with the DVBLogic service persists.
I'm not sure if the motherboard is 100% Win 8.1 compatible and I've gotten one BSODs running driver verifier.
The uploaded log file from DM Log Collector is attached.
Appreciate any help with this.
EDIT: Apologies, I started on the sevenforums and used DM Collector, have uploaded the SF Log files as well.
