    I've attached the diagnostic stuff

Hope you can tell me what is wrong
    Thanking you in advance

Please follow the below steps :-

    1. Please remove Daemon Tools as it has been known to cause problems.
    2. Please update the rest of the drivers.
    3. Please remove "SeriousBit NetBalancer Internet traffic control and monitoring tool".

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

    Hi blueelvis

Thank you very much for having a look. I am busy downloading all of the drivers (over 500mb of them), and I've un-installed daemon tools + netbalancer. I will reply here in a few day's time, and give you feedback if I have received a BSOD again or not. (I received another BSOD just about 5hrs ago, but I'll implement the stuff you said right now, and hopefully it will work).

    Thank you, talk again soon

Hi again blueelvis. So it's been 5 days and I'm happy to report that I haven't had a single BSOD since doing all of these changes. (PS. I also did another thing that you didn't recommend, and that was disabling "nvidia streaming service" because I read that that can cause BSOD also. Anyway, thank you very much for your help, it's very much appreciated.

    Thanks for the rep ^_^.

Glad to hear that the issue has been resolved

The NVIDIA Streaming Service is only required if you own a NVIDIA SHIELD Device and want to do the streaming stuff. If you do not own a SHIELD device, it is absolutely un-necessary to run. I hope this helps ^_^.

Can you believe it? Just about 1hr after posting my "victory over the BSOD" post, I got a bloody BSOD again.. what are the chances?

I'm sure that I celebrated too much, and my computer resented me, so it got another BSOD, TWICE!

the first BSOD said "KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE" and the 2nd BSOD said something about "KMODE EXCEPTION".. the 2nd BSOD happened while I was playing a game, which has never before happened. I usually only got these BSOD while browsing, so this is a first. I was doing 'screen recording' when I got the 2nd BSOD, so maybe that had something to do with it.

I have created another report with the collecting tool (should include both minidumps from the past 3hrs) and I hope that you can crush this BSOD problem, just like you did with the other one.

(PS. you will see that I still have the 'netbalancer' installed, that is because I uninstalled the old one (like you suggested), and then installed a new one).

    Thank in advance again

    Hi Plank68 ^_^,

I have analyzed your latest dump file and it clearly blames the Serious Bit Netbalancer and it is present in the Stack of Function Calls as well. Below is the summary of that :-
    Code:

As you can see that the software driver is very old for Windows 8.1 (As it dates back to 2010), I would strongly recommend you to uninstall the software and find some alternative.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Again that Netbalancer? Ugh.. I thought that if I installed another version that it would have fixed it, but alas not... Ok, I'll look for an alternative (I use it to limit the speed that my youtube uploads run at, to stop my bandwidth being used up all at once). Thanks for taking a look again, enjoy your day!
