Hi there,

After having success with an ASUS desktop replacement, bought an ASUS desktop as well.

Steps completed:
Updated drivers (manufacturer>asus when possible)
Memtest passed
BIOS
Frequent checking of temps to ensure its not overheat
Tried to resolve based on eventlog entries and windbg

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Please follow the below steps, one step at a time :-

  1. Please remove any ASUS Bloatware found on your system. Also make sure that the drivers highlighted in RED are not present on the system. If there is presence even after Uninstalling the ASUS Bloatware then please rename these files.
  2. Please remove Tune Up Utilities as it has been known to cause issues in the past.
  3. Update the rest of the drivers.
  4. If the BSOD's still continue then please run Memtest for no shorter than atleast 8 passes using this **GUIDE**.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

H blueelvis,

Thanks for the quick response and warm welcome!

Any remaining ASUS remnants totally removed (stubborn files had to be renamed). Tune up is gone too. Re-installed drivers for most of the list (WLAN, LAN, Sound, SSD, Intel chipset). Mouse, keyboard and GPU were fully up to date. I'll run another memtest overnight and see what comes back.

Thanks for your support!

So how is it going? Are you still getting the BSOD or the problem has been resolved?

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Hi Jackflash3r,

If you are still facing the problems then please upload a freshly generated SF Diagnostic ZIP File so that it could be analyzed ^_^.

Ok so, it turned out it was an issue due to an incompatibility between my system and the razer naga mouse I was using. I switched to an old RAT 5 I still had, installed no drivers for it and everything seems to be stable.

I hope that this helps others facing similar issues.

All the best and thank you for your help!
