Hello everybody.

I am getting a BSOD when I try intalling the drivers for my graphic card, the version to try install is a Geforce 340.52 Driver, each time it was unsuccessful install, in the middle of the install it totally crashes. So I am totally lost in what is happening . I am getting in BSOD as error: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOD_HANDLED (nvlddmkm.sys) while is installing drivers and from system restart is error: SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (nvlddmkm.sys)

I'll be totally grateful for your help, thank you very much in advance.

Please follow the below steps one step at a time and then checking for BSOD :-

  1. As we can see in all the Dump files, the "nvlddmkm.sys" driver has been blamed which is the NVIDIA Graphics driver. It may be possible that there are some components left out from the previous installation. Please run this **TOOL** and once you have completely uninstalled your NVIDIA drivers, see if the crashes are still happening or not. If the BSOD's stop then please download and install the latest BETA DRIVERS from NVIDIA and then install them and see if the BSOD's are still happening or not. Also make sure that you have made sure that there are no loose connections.
  2. Remove your Avast Antivirus using this **TOOL**.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Hello blueelvis,

Thanks for you reply :)

I followed the steps, clean the installs of nvidia drivers with Display Driver Uninstaller and tried to install the new driver of gtx 780 340.52 with Geforce Experience, but it crashed in the middle install, after it crashed. right away turn off to make sure that the graphic card was properly connected, then enter a recovery state and download the driver without using gExperience. I tried installing again and crashed . So after that I uninstalled the avast antivirus and restarted the system the BSOD of restarting is gone :thumb: , but after attempting installing the driver it crashed, I dont know is worth to mention but when BSOD is showing it restart by itself after sending recopilation info, next I uninstalled Spybot Search a Destroy, but it not worked at all.

Any suggestions?

I attach a new dumps, I hope it helps.

It appears that the only problem which is appearing in the dump files is the "nvlddmkm.sys" which is the NVIDIA Display Driver.

Also, one thing you can try is installing the Drivers once from the Driver Media which came with your GPU.

Did the problem occur when you had uninstalled the NVIDIA Drivers using the DDU? If you are not sure then please make sure that you check it. Also, see if you are getting the crashes or not if you connect your Monitor to the Onboard Graphics port.

To stress test your GPU, please follow

FurMark Video Stress Test - free from here: FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, Burn-in Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net
FurMark Setup:
- If you have more than one GPU, select Multi-GPU during setup
- In the Run mode box, select "Stability Test" and "Log GPU Temperature"
Click "Go" to start the test (Looks like it's "BURN-IN test" now)
- Run the test until the GPU temperature maxes out - or until you start having problems (whichever comes first).
NOTE: Set the alarm to go off at 90ºC. Then watch the system from that point on. If the system doesn't display a temperature, watch it constantly and turn it off at the first sign of video problems. DO NOT leave it it unmonitored, it can DAMAGE your video card!!!
If the temperature gets above 100ºC, quit the test - the video card is overheating.
- Click "Quit" to exit[/quote]
What you are looking for:
- excessive heat from the GPU (report back with anything over 90ºC)
- problems with the video display (picture is distorted or jumbled, picture turns black, etc)
- problems reported by the program (I haven't seen this, but "just in case")

Hello blueelvis :),

Once again I make sure to do an clean installation with DDU and tried to install the driver 340.52, but it fails again during the installation. So I install a previous version (337.88) without a problem, I go for next step of testing stability with FurMark 1.13.0.0 , my hands started sweating XD, but it doesn't have any incovenient for 15 minutes(it was fair enought?), it has an average of max temp of 83, I attached the results below. So I give up trying to install 337.88 for this time, I will wait for the next version. But thanks for your help :D, I hope it helps my info, for future further problems.

So, it seems there might be problem with the driver package. So, your issue has been resolved right? Could you please mark this thread as SOLVED?
