    Random BSOD while gaming.

It is just a matter of time before the system crashes. Sometimes I can play a whole evening without a crash, sometimes it crashes every 5 minutes. It does not seem to coincide with what happens in the game and it can be an old game with minimum graphics or something else on max, the crash is the same. As it crashes, screen goes black, it generates a hum on the speakers, and all I can do is to push the power button until it shuts off the power.

Another problem is that there is NO dump file whatsoever. Minidump settings are all validated, but no dump gets created.
I hope the SF debug Tool is enough.

    Thanks.

Hi Gerardphil & Welcome to the forums ^_^,

Could you please describe to atleast what you see on the Blue Screen as the error message? I will scan through your Event Logs and post back soon.

Without the dump files, it would be like shooting an arrow in the dark

    Thanks!
It doesn't show anything, the game freezes and i have to restart the pc, maybe there is something I'm missing on how to make the logs work? I tried fixing the setting, is there anything else I can do?

So, you don't get a Blue Screen but rather simply a black screen and the PC stops?

Such problems generally arise due to Overheating of the components so could you please check the temperatures by using this free utility while running and not running the games?

    Core Temp

Also, make sure your GPU is not overheating. Download HWINFO and report back the temperatures of the GPU as well.

Don't worry the programs are extremely easy to install and once you open up, you get the temperature readings. Anyways, keep me updated ^_^.
