BSOD error KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE randomly

I keep getting blue screens and the last one said Kernel security check failure. I'm not sure if the other failures were with the same error but I would assume they were. The laptop crashes while getting shut down, during several hours of use and today when I turned it on it failed straight away. I hope I've correctly posted the zip file. I am clueless when it comes to computers so help in layman's terms would be appreciated.

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    windows 8.1
    Computer type
    Laptop
    System Manufacturer/Model
    Samsung
    CPU
    Intel core i7 @ 2.00 GHz
    Memory
    8GB
    Browser
    Internet Explorer
    Antivirus
    AVG
Out of the last 8 memory dumps there were 8 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- missing Windows Updates
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers) - and older systems
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

Start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized. i5 and i7 processors can be "auto-overclocked" by using Intel's TurboBoost feature. If so, it's safe to disregard this caution.
Processor may be overclocked!
Expected Frequency: 2000
Actual Frequency: 2494
Overclock Ratio: 1.247

Please remove the Western Digital software. The wdcsam64.sys (which dates from 2008) is known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems. Reference link: http://www.carrona.org/drivers/driver.php?id=wdcsam64.sys

Please remove the Mirage Driver (from DemoForge). The dfmirage.sys driver dates from 2008 and is likely not compatible w/Win8.1

Please note the drivers below that date from before the release of Windows 8.1 (17 Oct 2013) - check to see that each and every one is compatible w/Windows 8.1 (at the manufacturer's website). If not, you must either remove the device and it's software - or locate a Windows 8.1 compatible update on the web. Removing some drivers may make the system unstable - so if you're unable to find updates, post back for info on the one's that can/cannot be safely removed.

In order to do hardware diagnostics it wants me to make a bootable CD. However I don't have a CD drive as my laptop is an ultrabook. Do I make a disk image and mount it and then restart my computer? And what does it want me to burn on the CD? The software I find on the driver manufacturer's site? And my reboot/start-up is very fast (Windows 8.1) so do I need to put the laptop in safe mode?

I have a Samsung NP900X4C-K01AU.

I've noticed certain glitches I get on my comp that have become frequent recently; I get a lot of freezes of my bin which makes my screen blink and reshuffles all of my desktop folders to the right, I get black sections on my screen usually when I browse the net (although not always), on my list of programs in the control panel as of recently I cant see the dates the programs were modified nor the type.

These BSODs are fairly recent. The laptop does heat up to the extent you get a burning sensation when you touch it. Once when it crashed it made a very loud noise, like a buzzing, scratchy sort of noise (not sure if this means something is permanently damaged now). Not sure if any of this helps but maybe it's worth mentioning.

I've deleted both WD and Mirage software/drivers.

I was trying to follow the Hardware Diagnostics link you posted however I am lost.

I have a Solid State drive. However I don't see anything relevant on the Samsung site to download as per step 2. My disk drive is SAMSUNG MZMTD256HAGM-000.

If the system is hot to the touch, then please monitor the temps using this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting
Normally temps shouldn't exceed (laptops may be a small bit higher):
CPU - 60ºC
GPU - 80ºC
HDD and other components - 40ºC

There are 3 bootable programs suggested on the diagnostics page:
- hard drive diagnostics
- MemTest86+
- antivirus diagnositcs

I can suggest these alternatives if you don't have a CD/DVD drive:

It's easier to run the hard drive diagnostics and the antivirus diagnostics from within Windows.
I'd suggest SeaTools for Windows and MalwareBytes AntiMalware for these.

As for the MemTest86+ - there are instructions for making a USB drive (instead of a CD/DVD)
I would try that first. There may be problems booting from the drive if you have a UEFI system - as such then it's easiest to run Prime95 from within Windows. It's not the same as MemTest86+, but the Blend test will stress the RAM.
You can also switch settings in the UEFI to boot from the USB - but that's beyond my abilities here (due to the different implementations of the UEFI by the different OEM's)
