- I have three pcs with win8 and this is the only one it's happening too.

  • Every time I move the mouse to wake the monitor it reboots
  • If I turn off the monitor and turn it back on it reboots

Anyone run into this issue?
I read on a win7 forum that's it's the video card drivers but I tested both the Windows one and Nvidia ones.

The pc is a

Well, the crashes are being blamed on your NVIDIA driver but that is not the problem at all because your version is new and known well.

The crashes are being caused by this driver:
Code:
fffff880`0587e000 fffff880`059fa380 eatinavrr (deferred)
    Image path: \SystemRoot\system32\DRIVERS\eatinavrr.sys
    Image name: eatinavrr.sys
    Timestamp: Wed Dec 02 22:43:27 2009 (4B1733DF)
    CheckSum: 0018935E

    Translations: 0000.04b0 0000.04e4 0409.04b0 0409.04e4

I would definitely update that or if there is no update, remove the hardware it drives from the system.

------

Equally important is to update this driver from your motherboard's website at ASUS. It is in the downloads/utilities sections. It's name is "ATK0110":

Code:
ASACPI ASACPI.sys Sun Mar 27 22:30:36 2005

------

This file needs to be removed. To do so, uninstall the software that owns it. Then check C:\Windows\System32\drivers for it to be gone after. Reboot.

Code:
NCREMOTEPCI NCREMOTEPCI.SYS Mon Sep 11 16:47:50 2006

-----------

You're welcome.

Hey GMan,

I'm trying them all out now, the eatinavrr driver is from my eye tv tuner and I'm having trouble installing the driver from elgato but I'm searching online to see what I can do.

-----
I go the ATK0110 from asus for my motherboard but it also doesn't want to install so i'm looking into that too.
-----
and ncremotepci belongs to the elgato eye tv tuner.
-----

So I guess the culprit to all of these problems is the Tv tuner.

Thank you again!

Yes, almost without any doubt 100%. So I'll say 99.999% that it is the TV Tuner. (Just leaving some room for me being wrong - being humble - in case something else lol.)

You can simply put the new asacpi.sys over the old at C:\Windows\System32\drivers and reboot. If ASUS file is only an .exe, look in the temp folders (user or system) for the .sys when running the .exe and before close.

You're welcome.
