Hello!
After a long free-problem period with my new laptop for almost one year and a few months, lately, I've been running into BSOD.
Well, this is how it started. When I closed the lid the sound is off and I had to disable and re-enable it from the Device Manager, I removed, reinstalled from the Company's website, but in vain.
the harder I try to solve the problem, the worse it gets.
sometimes I get CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED other times I get (the most frequent) KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR (volmgrx.sys)
I checked my ram updated most of my drivers, but no solution.
sometimes, the computer works the whole day with any problem !!!

Only 130 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Please start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics
Be sure to try the anti-malware scans - and if infected, post over in the Security forums to have them fix those problems BEFORE you work on the BSOD's

Also, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Do not run more than one antivirus at a time. They compete for resources and can cause BSOD's (especially if the system is infected).

your reply.
I ran sfc/ scannow and couldn't repair some corrupted file, then I resorted to scanhealth /checkhealth / restorehealth, and it couldn't repair, I performed a clean boot, and tried the same on safe boot, but in vain.
after all that, sorry, I was upset and couldn't wait any longer as my job depends lot on my laptop. So, I did a clean installation of the windows.
I think the clean installation could solve the problem of corrupted files, that couldn't be repaired with sfc/ scannnow.

Please, don't close the topic until I see the result after a while.

Don't worry about not waiting - I understand how it is when you need your tools, you need them immediately.
We get this quite often at work (I'm a PC technician). Around 90% of all BSOD's are due to driver problems - so a clean install can usually fix them. Make sure that you get all Windows Updates and all updates from the PC/motherboard manufacturer's website. Good luck!

This'll stay open indefinitely.
Since I've responded to the topic, I'll be notified by email whenever anyone replies to it.

after the clean installation, I notice the windows sometimes freezes for a second or so when opening softwares.
Yesterday I was trying to install VAIO UPDATE when I was asked to restart the laptop ran a disk repair. and today I was working on chrome and suddenly the blue screen appeared, but with different error message 0x0c000021a and my computer restarted.
by the way, I have installed all the drivers from the company's computer website and all the windows updates that appeared.

Why did you run "Fix all" in Seatools - did the program tell you to run it?

I would monitor the system to see if "Fix all" fixed things
Run Seatools Long/Extended test again in about a week and see if it finds problems (?again?).

Upgrade to Win8.1 may help - but not until we've figured out if there's a hard drive problem.

An "unexpected I/O error" is usually a problem with the hard drive, but it can also be a problem with something else (such as the motherboard).

I would suggest trying another hard drive. Purchase a new one from a shop that will allow you to return it (for a full refund) if it's not needed. Try that and see if the system still BSOD's - if it does, then it's most likely the motherboard (if it doesn't BSOD, then it was most likely your hard drive).

Don't you think that it can be the USB mouse or the USB of the fan that I'd always been connecting to my laptop?
I haven't had any BSOD since I disconnect all the USB devices, because I always use them.
I set default setting to the BIOS.
I re-run the sfc /scannow and found no corrupted files.

the software WhoCrashed shows:
