Related to hidusb.sys Microsoft HID Class Driver.

Please run a system file check (SFC /SCANNOW). There is a tutorial on how to run it in win 8 in the turorial section.

Also of note these old drivers

Code:
TVALZ_O.SYS 11/8/2007 11:08:41 PM
Thpevm.SYS 6/29/2009 4:15:37 AM
nvhda64v.sys 9/7/2010 4:08:40 PM
CHDRT64.sys 10/13/2010 1:17:49 AM
HECIx64.sys 10/19/2010 7:33:43 PM
L1C63x64.sys 9/28/2011 10:08:11 PM

How To Find Drivers:
- search Google for the name of the driver
- compare the Google results with what's installed on your system to figure out which device/program it belongs to
- visit the web site of the manufacturer of the hardware/program to get the latest drivers (DON'T use Windows Update or the Update driver function of Device Manager).
- if there are difficulties in locating them, post back with questions and someone will try and help you locate the appropriate program.
- - The most common drivers are listed on this page: Driver Reference Driver Reference
- - Driver manufacturer links are on this page: Drivers and Downloads

Just a FYI.

The oldest & most important driver in the clip above is related to TVALZ_O.SYS TOSHIBA ACPI-Based Value Added Logical and General Purpose Device Driver from TOSHIBA Corporation.

In addition since Audio & ACPI drivers interact the next most important one is related to nvhda64v.sys HDMI Audio Driver from NVIDIA Corporation.{The third listed one in the above list.}

Thanks for the fast replies guys, i really have no clue on how to update these drivers.. because this Nvidia audio driver was downloaded from the Toshiba support site(whatever latest they have got) .. other Toshiba drivers i haven't installed at all ... my win 7 is all with this Toshiba bloatware.. that is why i installed win 8 to get faster boot time...i have no intention of installing any of the Toshiba stuff in win 8.... but then i am not sure how these drivers show up at all.. does win 8 come with Toshiba drivers?? i highly doubt it!!...

Ran SFC /SCANNOW , said it could not fix some corrupt files.. it placed the log file in C:\Windows but my Win 8 installation is E:\ ... i started the scan in E:\ but it still put the log file in C: .. wonder why...

Ugly looking CBS.log. Many packages failed to open. Might just be easier to clean re-install.

Wow, i don't understand .. this is a new install .... i haven't installed any bloat yet... absolutely nothing other than the driver essentials to get the game running... is it possible that it is scanning the win 7 system since it has placed the log file win 7's partition..

Did you install a newer TVALZ_O.sys yet and NVIDIA chipset drivers, as the guys above have shown?

If so, how is it going now?

I've seen people say the the HECI driver is actually latest. Don't know how true that is, but you could leave that one for last.
