Thanks,

Right after the installation of the 14.6 driver from ATI, when i clicked on the 'done' button i got a new BSOD, with the name: atikmdag.sys (see attachment).

This night i will run the memorytest. By tomorrow i will give you the results.

Thanks!

Last replay for i run the memorytest. Just played Sniper Elite 3 and after 10 (maybe 15) minutes i got an BSOD. See attachment for crashdump.

Could the reason be my new '4096MBATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (290), Club 3d' that i installed this Saturday (yesterday)? If so, i will return it.

Many thanks,

Roy

ps. Maybe an strange conclusion but is it possible that its the memory on the videocard/GPU?

CRITICAL_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (109)
This bugcheck is generated when the kernel detects that critical kernel code or
data have been corrupted. There are generally three causes for a corruption:
1) A driver has inadvertently or deliberately modified critical kernel code
or data. See Kernel patch protection for x64-based operating systems
2) A developer attempted to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel
debugger that was not attached when the system was booted. Normal breakpoints,
"bp", can only be set if the debugger is attached at boot time. Hardware
breakpoints, "ba", can be set at any time.
3) A hardware corruption occurred, e.g. failing RAM holding kernel code or data.

This could be also a (memory)problem of your videocard.
You can test your videocard for faults with Prime 95

Hi Lifetec,

I think Prime95 is used for stress testing the CPU and not the Graphics card. Furmark or 3D Mark Vantage is used for stress testing the GPU. ^_^

@Yortje :-

Follow the guide over here :-

FurMark

Make sure, you don't leave that unattended. Also, if you face any problem, report back here and immediately close the Furmark. Read the guide properly.

Yes you are right blueelvis i ment Furmark.(slip of the mind)

@ Yortje
You said you switched your videocard.
Did you also upgrade your PSU ?
What wattage has your current PSU?

Yes I have update it: Corsair 750 Watt.

* running an burn in benchmark with Furmark. So far so good. Max 87 degrees. Or should I do an specific test (different resolution or something)?

Not good att all :(

Right after i hit send button (previous message) i got a new BSOD. Something like: Rdoll no more no less (or something, it went to fast to notice).

The memorytest disk was already in the cdlayer so the memorytest was automatically running (see attachments).

I am curious.. In Holland it's almost night. I will run the memorytest and get back tomorrow with the results.

That indicates a RAM module is faulty, you would need to test individual RAM module using memtest to determine the faulty one. Also, try reseating the RAM modules after blowing air using a blower in the RAM slots to make sure there is no dust in between and the RAM's are seated properly.

Oke, tonight I will test the memory individual. First I ll try my brothers memory to make shure that it isn't the memory on the videocard. (see attachment for Screenshot from the memory test after 8 hours)

If you get even a single error in the Memtest86+, stop the test as the module is faulty. No need to do it till 9 passes then :p
