Hi! Yesterday, I got the BSOD. It says this thing:
View attachment 46008
Prior to this one, I noticed that my Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter driver had a problem and I tried troubeshooting. I uninstalled it and restarted the laptop but the problem remained. Then I got the BSOD and thought that that might have been the root of the problem, after reading posts wherein UTorrent and IPV6 were believed to have caused this. I disabled the IPV6 and the laptop ran smoothly again until today. I got the BSOD again with the same msg.

I'm not well-versed with these computer technical stuff but I managed to follow the steps for debugging and here are the zipped files that might be needed. I hope you can help me!!!! :(

My Computer

System One

  • OS
    Windows 8
Only 138 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

C: drive only has about 8% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

These devices are disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
USB Input Device USB\VID_03EB&PID_881A&MI_00\7&14D8248D&0&0000 This device is disabled.
USB Input Device USB\VID_03EB&PID_881A&MI_01\7&14D8248D&0&0001 This device is disabled.
Please re-enable the device and update it's drivers. Then feel free to disable it again AFTER updating the drivers.

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disk-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

This appears to be a networking error. If the steps above don't stop the BSOD's, then please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
