    Windows 8.1 BSOD Special_Pool_Detected_Memory_Corruption

Hi all I just went to put in a CD in my CD drive and as it was loading my PC crashed and I got a blue screen with the error Special_Pool_Detected_Memory_Corruption and this has never happened before.

In BluescreenView it says caused by driver ntoskrnl.exe and caused by address ntoskrnl.exe+153fa0

    any help would be welcomed

I did attach the .dmp file in Winrar

Edit: Also in Event Viewer I always see this listed as Warning Attachment 45753

Gigabyte Easy Energy Saver is causing issues.

It's timestamp is very old. If you don't utilise this feature try disabling it through Service Manager. Better still, uninstall it.

Hi and thanks for the response but I do not see this installation folder anywhere for the Gigabyte Easy Energy Saver so how would I disable it?
