Hi guys! I just want to thank you in advance. You guys helped me out years ago when I was running windows vista and I'm very impressed with what you all do.

So here is my issue, I could be surfing the web or playing DayZ down to my PC just restarting from a crash and it will lock up or bsod. I have no idea what it is doing and I'm hoping you can shed some light.

I think it started doing it after I installed windows 8, Installed a wifi card and a GPU

Only 141 WindowsUpdates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Updateand get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

All your dumpfiles blames Probably caused by : atikmdag.sys ( atikmdag+c7dbb ).
This is the driver for your videocard.

You already have the latest driver installed. This driver could be corrupted, but this is not likely.

You mentioned you installed a new GPU (AMD Radeon R9 200 Series).
Did you also upgrade your PSU, if not what is wattage of you old PSU.
The new Graphiccards are very power demanding.

Your BIOSdates from 2010. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake canphysically damage your motherboard.
You have a Asustek M4A89GTD-PRO/USB3 motherboard and this board only supports windows 7 according the supportpage here ASUSTeK Computer Inc. -Support- Drivers and Download M4A89GTD PRO/USB3

Due to the age of the system, it's possible that it's not compatible with Windows 8.1 - you may have to consider moving back to Windows 8 or even Win7 in order to get acceptable performance.

Thanks!
I did upgrade to a 850 watt PSU before installing the card. I'm currently on windows 8 (I was on 8.1 but I had to do a fresh install of 8 and lost everything on my primary HDD) I'll reinstall the card drivers update everything and flash the bios. I'll let you know if the problem gets resolved. Thanks again!!
