Hello to community,
Sadly my first post here is about a Bsod...:(
I am getting Bsod at my iMac 27'' 2013 i5 8gb 512SSD with the latest Bootcamp Drivers at random times.
I Installed a fresh copy of the Win 8.1 x64 and I am still getting Bsod(my previous version was Win 7)
I have 2 extra devices connected at the imac, an USB3 to SATA 3 adaper (an ssd is connected there) and my Firewire Audio Interface via the thunderbolt to Firewire apple adapter.
An help will be great appreciated!!!
Thank you for you time!
Antony

Your nVidia driver is causing issues.

Code:

Try updating to the most recent drivers here, look for 337.88. Follow NVIDIA Drivers - Avoid Problems for the cleanest possible install.

Both your dumpfiles blames Probably caused by : 1394ohci.sys ( 1394ohci!IsochTx::HandleIsochAttachBuffers+3d5 ) and ERROR: Module load completed but symbols could not be loaded for yfwbus.sys.

The problem has to do with your audiodevice (Yamaha Steinberg FW WDM Audio) and with your Firewire(1394ohci.sys).
See if there are newer drivers for your Yamaha audiodevice.
Is your Firewire Apple adapter compatible with windows 8.1?
Does it need (updated)drivers?

Hope this puts you in the right direction.

Thank you so much for the responses!
So is the NVidia drivers causes the problem or the firewire adapter?
Yes lifetec the controller is compatible with the win 8.1.It makes use of an LSI chipset...I always prefer T.I. for audio interfaces but I cannot find another thunderbolt to firewire adapter with T.I. chipset...
Ps. The Yamaha drivers are the latest ones, compatible with win8.1..

These devices are disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?
Broadcom SD Host Controller PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_16BC&SUBSYS_96BC14E4&REV_01\4&3081E79F&0&01E3 This device is disabled.

Broadcom 802.11ac Network Adapter PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_43A0&SUBSYS_0111106B&REV_03\4&D1659EC&0&00E2 This device is disabled.
Please enable each device and then update it's drivers. Feel free to disable them again once the drivers have been updated.

I'm uncertain of how to do this in a BootCamp installation - but the nVidia video drivers need to be updated. Here's the reason (from a canned speech of mine):
From a previous post of mine (located here: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...artup-lid-closed-dpc-watchdog.html#post379761 ):
..... NvStreamKms.sys - an nVidia driver that belongs to the nVidia Streaming Kernel service.
Check this post out for a possible fix: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/573811/nvidia-streamer-service-may-be-freezing-your-pc/
Or, you may want to uninstall the nVidia drivers and then install a fresh copy without the Streaming Kernel Service (I'm not familiar with nVidia drivers, so I don't even know if this is possible).

That is the only obvious problem that I see on the system.
In most cases, if you keep up with the updates (both Windows and Apple Software), you may not see another BSOD.
Should you get another BSOD, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

nVidia Streaming Kernel service - may cause BSOD in Win8.1 systems (found in May 2014). Date/TimeStamp: Tue Apr 29 20:59:44 2014 (53604B00) MAY NOT BE A PROBLEM, this is a tenative posting - Appears that April 29 driver is a problem, July 2014 drivers seem OK

The only way to update the Apple drivers is through Apple Software Update. If there are no updated drivers available, then that's what we're stuck with. Please let us know the results of the update.
