I have been getting BSOD rtkvhd64.sys for about 3 day's now, I think ever since I updated my nvidia drivers to 337.88, as a result I downloaded 335.23 and installed them but that dose not seem to have fixed the problem. Seem's to happen when I'm playing FM2014 or Warcraft.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

EDIT: Windows 8.1 Pro Media Center 64bit

In addition a few day's ago RealTek audio drivers were updated due to the sound on my speakers just not working one day, I got the latest 64bit from the website and all seemed fine, could be part of the issue I dono.

Your BIOS dates from 2007. Please check at the manufacturer's website to see if there are any BIOS updates available for your system. Also check the readme file to see if they apply to the problems that you are having. Please be advised that flashing the BIOS is a very unforgiving process - and one mistake can physically damage your motherboard.

There is a possibility that this system is not compatible w/Win8 or Win8.1 If so, the you'll have to decide to downgrade to Win7 or Vista in order to achieve acceptable performance. We'll continue to attempt to help until you decide what to do.

These devices have problems in Device Manager:
Standard floppy disk controller ACPI\PNP0700\4&39F2EEF9&0 This device is disabled.

Not Available LOGIDEVICE\VID_046D&PID_C232\1&79F5D87&0&49714 The drivers for this device are not installed.
Please update the Logitech drivers for the mouse and keyboard to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version.

The memory dumps blame RTKVHD64.sys - a driver component for your Realtek sound device. As you've already updated this driver, we'd have to suspect something else. Please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

Thank you very much for looking into this for me, I have removed the RealTek audio driver all together and I'm looking to buy a new set of speakers hopefully ones that do not use this driver! As a result the BSOD has ended for at least the last 12 hours.

I have updated the suggested Logitech driver, it was for my G600 mouse as it turns out, my keyboard is the QPAD MK-85 so I just guess Logitech use similar drivers for both mouse and keyboard products, the QPAD drivers seem to be upto date in anycase.

I was aware the bios was out dated but as you say it can be troublesome to update and in all honesty I'm scared to death to try, if you think it will make a vast improvement to my systems comparability going forward I will endeavour to do so but I have been putting it off for some time.

Honestly forgot I even had a floppy drive, I suppose if I just disconnect it inside the case and uninstall the device from the device manager that should do the trick?

My best guess is that NvstreamKms.sys is some remnant left over from having updated and rolled back my Nvidia drivers, with the RealTek drivers now gone I will most likely attempt to update them again back to 337.88 and see if that works out.

Once again thank you very much for allotting time to this, it's a weight off my mind to know for sure what the problem is/was.

I have to wonder about the Realtek sound drivers. You have updated them in the past, so it would seem to me that it's either a compatibility problem, or a hardware problem.

Frankly, I'd leave everything else alone for now and see if that helps.

As for the BIOS, I don't know if it'll help or hinder things. BUT I do think that, at some point, the stability issues with the system may force you to update it (and take that chance). I had a Lenovo system with a 2008 BIOS that just wouldn't work well with Win8 and I had to downgrade it to Win7 in order to get it to work (we even tried to fix it while I visited Microsoft - but no one could coax acceptable performance from it).
