While actively playing a Starcraft 2 campaign mission the system froze (I was unable to affect it at all using keyboard or mouse, not even Ctrl+Alt+Delete) and the image on the screen did not change while a sound played a constant noise like it had hung as well. After about 3-5 seconds a blue screen came up with a :( face and mentioned dpc watchdog violation. The system is a Lenovo ideapad Y510p. SF Diagnostic Tool dump attached.

Hi Someguy283 and welcome to the forums ^_^

The bugcheck of the dump file provided is :- DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133)The DPC watchdog detected a prolonged run time at an IRQL of DISPATCH_LEVEL
or above.
It has the arguments (0,501,500,0)

The dump file generated by the system of yours has much of it's information corrupt and could not be read. Still the only thing which I could figure out through the stack was that the driver "nvlddmkm.sys" which is dated Thu Mar 27 03:12:33 2014.

Below is provided an analysis of your dump file :-
