Solved BSOD after clean install in new computer

Goodday, I recently built together a brand new computer but after installing windows 8.1, the computer keeps BSODing with different error messages all the time. I've been trying to install my battlefield 4 but during installation, it will assuredly BSOD. It also BSODs when im transferring a large amount of files from my usb external hdd. Even in the process of trying to collect the minidumps and zipping the folder, it would also BSOD. I have already tried reinstalling windows but it has no effect.

My internet explorer also keeps not responding and while installing other programs they also "not responding"

Edit: after posting this, I was trying to install chrome from the internet but everytime I tried it kept BSODing, total of three times with each different error names

You have 17 dmp files and 2/3 of the BSOD's were caused by memory corruption, the rest were caused by different processes and you were unable to install the software since anything you try to install must first be loaded into memory before run which indicate you might have faulty memory stick(s). I suggest that download http://www.memtest.org/download/5.01/memtest86+-5.01.usb.installer.zip and install it with a USB stick then run the memory diagnostic test. You need to run for at least 6-8 hours or at least 4-6 passes unless errors occur before.

In addition, make sure you have updated the latest firmware for your Samsung SSD 840 EVO.

I am running memtest right now, already 3 hours into it and no errors detected so far. I have also made sure that my SSD's firmware is latest (which it already was when the BSODs were happening).

If memtest detects no errors, can it be possible that the motherboard is the issue? The motherboard is also using the latest BIOS for it as well

Sometimes memtest won't detect any error on the first few passes, different pattern will be read and written for each test so you need to be patient. And yes, it could be faulty memory controller on the board.

I brought the computer to the shop i got it from and they told me to make sure to install the intel smart connect and intel rapid start drivers since the computer didnt crash on them when they installed all the drivers from asrock. I didnt install these prior since these werent an option to install in the ce that came with the motherboard. Do these two things really have an effect?

I've tries reinstalling win8.1 again, but the first time it came with bad pool caller bsod after the first restart, windows didnt finish installing

The BSOD's randomly crashed with different processes and also when you tried to install the software so I doubt if those drivers have any effect. How did the memtest go so far ? just let it run for couple more hours and if there's no errors then before you re-install Windows, let us do few more things, disconnect any extra devices you have in your PC such as extra hard disk, cd/dvd, USB devices, keep the system to the minimum:

1. From the elevated command prompt: run chkdsk /r C: =====> This may take a while
2. next, run: dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
3. then run: sfc /scannow =======> You might have to run multiple times if there's errors and need to be fixed.
4. If they are all good. Check for Windows Updates and install all. If Windows reboot after updates, run the check again until you see no more updates.

EDIT: By any chance, did you over clock your PC and also is your BIOS the latest ?

Im back at the shop again and they asked me about my electricity setup which is a ups powering a tv, my old gaming desktop and the new desktop. Its an apc 500va. They mentioned that could be a cause because the new high end desktop isnt getting enough juice from the ups. They're trying to stress test the pc at the shop and no bsods. They installed their own windows since its not allowed to install software that came from the outside

I ran memtest for 10 hours, 9 passes, no errors
Ran check disk, no error
Ran dism no error
Ran sfc 3 times, 1st and 3rd had no issues but the 2nd abruptly stopped at 9%

Also i am not over clocking and the bios is up to date


Tried windows update, but had BSODs when downloading some stuff. After installing some of the updates, the machine now BSODs even when just booting and even when im accessing file explorer, windows so i can to the minidump section. i tried the sf program to get the dump but windows told me to download .net framework 3.5 but i get a BSOD when downloading it. So i just manually copied the minidumps into a zip since i couldnt run the sf program

Thanks for all the help, the computer shop determined it was a bad processor that was making the system BSOD randomly. Got the processor replaced and so far no problems.
