BSOD netio.sys while using USB internet adapter

Hi, I've been browsing your forums for a solution to the netio.sys BSOD without any success. I have Free Download Manager and use it to download files and torrents. I am a US native currently in Ivory Coast, using a Wimax USB adapter BM328 through mtn.ci
The link below includes the latest minidump as well as the memory dump. It has BSOD about 6 times today. I've tried disabling the teredo, but to no avail.
Here is the minidump:

Here is the memory dump and the minidump(it may take a bit to sync):

Disable what teredo?
Is this an error in Device Manager for the Teredo network adapter?
If so, just right click on it and select "Uninstall". Reboot the system and it should now be gone.

Please provide this information so we can provide a complete analysis (from the Pinned Topic at the top of the forum): http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...e-screen-death-bsod-posting-instructions.html Please use Option 1 as it provides Event Viewer logs.

I saw this driver in the stack text: Beceem Communications Inc. WiMAX driver. It dates from 2010 and likely isn't compatible with Win8.1 The drivers (from the dump file) are BcmBusCtr_64.sys and drxvi314_64lh.sys
Please replace it:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible version of the software for this device
- uninstall the current driver software
- install the freshly downloaded driver software
- monitor for further BSOD's
If unable to get a Win8.1 compatible driver, I'd suggest removing the device.
If unable to remove the device, then I'd guess that FDM just won't work with it :(
(but, this also depends on the impact that Daemon Tools has on this problem).

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Finally, Win 8 Bluetooth drivers sometimes have problems with Win8.1. Update them to the latest, Win8.1 compatible verison.

Thanks for the reply. Attached is the SF diagnostic report. I had uninstalled Daemon, but obviously overlooked the sptd.sys part of it. I have removed it from my system. I had about 7 minidumps on the 20th, 3 yesterday and so far 0 today. I've been searching for an updated driver/software for my USB internet stick without any success. Also, FDM was giving me a fatal error today, so I checked for updates and downloaded the latest version of it.

As far as the teredo goes, I saw on another thread that running "netsh interface teredo set state disabled" would help, but obviously that's not the solution.

Ok, long story short, I got a slightly more updated version of the software for my USB Wimax device, uninstalled FDM and reinstalled all my wireless/bluetooth drivers. Then I got typhoid fever(that's why it's been a week, sorry). I've been trying to check for updates through windows update, but haven't had anything but Windows defender updates for the past 10 days or so. I don't know if it matters, but I've had the computer for 2-3 months.
I downloaded Bittorrent to replace FDM and have had a few netio.sys errors but they don't seem to be related to the USB device. The BSOD only seem to occur after I let the computer idle while running Bittorrent.
I've had a couple of BSOD from removing the usb device while the computer was in sleep mode, and that gives a different code(SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED)

Sorry, but I don't troubleshoot torrent issues. My suggestions for that are to uninstall the torrent software and see if the BSOD's recur.

Please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump. You may have to copy it to your Desktop in order to zip it up.
But, from what you're describing, the problems seem to revolve around your WiMax device - so I'd have to suspect that first.

If updating the drivers to one's that are compatible with Win8.1 didn't fix it - then I'd suspect a hardware problem with the device
If there weren't any Win8.1 compatible drivers for the device - then I'd suspect that the device isn't compatible with Win8.1

From looking at these minidumps, I'd have to say that the problem is that the WiMax device isn't compatible w/Win8.1
Possible solutions are to:
- get a compatible WiMax device
- revert to Win8 (may not even work there), or Win7.

Ok, thanks for your help. Should I go ahead and mark it as "solved"?

    Malwarebytes Pro/ Windows Defender
It depends, do you consider it solved?
If you plan to do further testing, you can leave it as is until you finalize it.
If not, you can always mark it solved - then post back if you find another issue (the topic will remain open and I'll get notification if your reply to it).

Good luck!
