Solved win 7 netio.sys crash

hi,iam new here and i hope to find some help with this problem

i also experienced the same issue with win 8

it looks that issue only ocurrs when using internet download manager

if i uninstall it ,the crash never occur

is it because of IDM? or something else

no usb driver i use

but always a massage shown about unkown usb driver on device manager

i will try driver verifier and install windos update and hint back again

If you don't use USB devices, then it's likely that this one is one that's built into the system:
- touchpad
- card reader
- fingerprint sensor
- webcam

Go to the HP website and install the drivers for each of these devices (and any others that you may see there)
Then check after each one to see if it's fixed the problem in Device Manager.

i installed windos update & run driver verifier but no crash happens

yah my webcam is not running properly..

but do you think that IDM can cause netio.sys crash? since i removed it no crash happens

It is possible for IDM to cause the crashes.
But, I do not see crashes from it very often, so I suspect something else may be causing the crashes

Please run Driver Verifier for 36 hours.

If Driver Verifier does not cause crashes, then it's most likely either a hardware problem or a Windows problem.

i removed ccleaner as u say and re-install IDM and its fine till now

i think its solved with me

but i dont know how to update my webcam driver

i installed it from hp website but it say uncompatible..can you advice me with this?

Use Windows Update to update your Windows drivers

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).

Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).

Both BSOD's have occurred in Chrome. Please uninstall Chrome and use another browser to see if this helps.

Please zip up and upload the contents of C:\Windows\Minidump. You may have to copy it to your Desktop in order to zip it up.

Since it happens with IDM, have you tried another, similar program (to replace it)?
If so, what were the results?

yah i used xtreme download manager and free download manager but no crash happend

it is only with IDM

and i cant find another tool like IDM and i need it

I understand the need for a download manager - but don't use one myself, so I can't suggest one.

It seems that this also occurs in Firefox (from this dump file).

I'd then suggest that you remove Ashampoo WinOptimizer in order to see if it's the cause. Then try IDM to test

Also try it by removing your antivirus (and enabling Windows Defender and the Windows Firewall), then try IDM and see if that works.
