Hi all,

I have been getting driver_power_state_failure quite often for a week know. I have been trying to fix it myself but i gave up.
I have also tried running the driver verifier tool. But i couldn't accomplish to find the driver(s) which was coursing the problem. I have run CCleaner and it have deleted some of the mini dump files, i hope that isn't a problem, the most recent dump files are still there.

Thanks for taking your time to help!

HotSpotShield (hssdrv6.sys) is known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems. Please uninstall it in order to check if it's the cause here.

E: drive only has about 10% free space. Windows likes 15% free space in order to perform stuff "behind the scenes" without adversely affecting the system's performance. Please free up 15% on ALL hard drives (you can get away with 10% on larger drives and won't notice a large performance penalty)

MSI Afterburner (along with Riva Tuner and EVGA Precision) are known to cause BSOD's in some Windows systems (it's driver is usually RTCore64.sys). Please un-install them immediately!

If you're overclocking, please stop the overclock while we're troubleshooting. Feel free to resume the overclock once the system has been stabilized.

The WER section of MSINFO32 shows several BSOD's due to USB Audio. Do you have such a device? If so, are you using the latest, Win8.1 compatible drivers for it? FYI - In the first 2 dumps, usbaudio is blamed

In the last 2 dumps, Verifier blames NvStreamKms.sys:
From a previous post of mine (located here: http://www.eightforums.com/bsod-cra...artup-lid-closed-dpc-watchdog.html#post379761 ):
..... NvStreamKms.sys - an nVidia driver that belongs to the nVidia Streaming Kernel service.
Check this post out for a possible fix: https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/573811/nvidia-streamer-service-may-be-freezing-your-pc/
Or, you may want to uninstall the nVidia drivers and then install a fresh copy without the Streaming Kernel Service (I'm not familiar with nVidia drivers, so I don't even know if this is possible).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :
