Crash on wake from long sleep

Hi and thank you,

I usually boot my machine in the morning, use it for a bit and then leave for work. After a time, the machine goes to sleep. About 5 or 6 hours latter, WMC wakes the machine to record a TV show. The recording never happens. When I get home, the machine is one but unresponsive with no display. The power button does not shut the machine down. I have to long hold the power button to kill the machine. In addition, if the machine sleeps for a shorter period and I wake it with the mouse, it crashes and restarts. I had to look at a log to find out that the machine restarted because, again, no display.

What I've done:
Updated the BIOS
sfc /scannow (revealed errors)
... /RestoreHealth (fixed errors)
Drive and memory diagnostics
Checked my problem against this forum which revealed other crash at wake threads but I'm not able to interpret the log file...

Attached is my sf debug tool output

Sincere thanks!

The 22 dumpfiles only had 2 kinds of BSOD's Probably caused by : BugCheck 1000007E ACPI.sys ( ACPI!LinkNodepRestoreIrqRoutingWorker+100 ) and BugCheck 9F Probably caused by : atapi.sys.
Bugcheck 7e; possible causes Hardware issues, such as BIOS incompatibilities, memory conflicts, and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.
Bugscheck 9e: possible causes Device Drivers

Your BIOSdates from 2009.
You have already the latest bios version installed. And according to Dell your system is not compatible with windows 8.1

Due to the age of the system, it's possible that it's not compatible withWindows 8.1 - you may have to consider moving back to Windows 8 or even Win7 inorder to get acceptable performance.
But I found a unofficial dellreinstallation guides XPS 435MT ? Windows 7 and 8.1 64 Bit | Unofficial Windows Reinstallation and Related Guides by Philip Yip. .

Please update these older drivers. Linksare included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable tofind an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for thatdriver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the systemunbootable! :
