Daily-ish BSOD past few months :(

I'm on 8.1 and it's almost always when playing World of Warcraft or sometimes just using Firefox. The most recent BSOD a minute ago was KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.

    Blegh.

One of your dumpfiles blames Probably caused by : dxgmms1.sys ( dxgmms1!VIDMM_SEGMENT::MarkResourcesForEviction+cf ).
Driver Description: DirectX Graphics MMS./ this is probably related to your videocards and you mentioned that the bsods mostly happens when gaming.

In your msinfo32 report i found:
    <Device><![CDATA[Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600]]></Device>
    <PNP_Device_ID><![CDATA[PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_0412&SUBSYS_D0001458&REV_06\3&11583659&0&10]]></PNP_Device_ID>
    <Error_Code><![CDATA[This device is disabled.]]></Error_Code>
    .

Why is this device disabled did you have problems with it?
How did you disabled it, through device manager or did you disabled it in your Biossettings?.

Your Logitech G710 keyboard drivers are outdated(2009), please update the latest drivers from here Support + Downloads: G710 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard - Logitech and also update the drivers(2012) for your Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910.

Please also update your Intel Watchdog Timer driver(2010), it is (probably) part of the intel mangement engine.
Check the support/driver downloadsite of your OEM model or system(mainboard) for the latest windows 8.1 driver here GIGABYTE - Motherboard - Socket 1150 - GA-Z87X-D3H (rev. 1.x).
And please also update all the other drivers to the latest version.

If theBSOD's continue, I'd suggest running Driver Verifier according to theseinstructions: Driver Verifier Settings .

I have the Intel HD graphics disabled (should be via the BIOS) because I have a dedicated graphics card installed and the two were conflicting. With the integrated graphics enabled, my PC wouldn't boot without plugging my monitor into the motherboard DVI port instead of the Nvidia card. It would just keep making a clicking sound and the monitor wouldn't turn on, and the PC would never even POST beep.

Did you also uninstall all the drivers from the HD Graphics card. To exclude all kinds of possible driver conflicts.

I'm not sure, I will try. Just do that via device manager? Also, is it an issue if the integrated card isn't disabled in the BIOS and only device manager? If it's still enabled in the BIOS then I think it's because it wouldn't let me disable it without the PC refusing to boot. I don't remember.

According to your manual chapter 2-6 the internal graphics is by default enabled. so if you don't want to use your internal graphic card at all it is best to set it to disabled in your bios.
And if you installed your external graphic card in the pciex16 slot, it should work as your primary card (default)

    Init Display First
Specifies the first initiation of the monitor display from the installed PCI graphics card, PCI Express graphics
IGFX Sets the onboard graphics as the first display.
PCIe 1 Slot Sets the graphics card on the PCIEX16 slot as the first display. (Default)
PCIe 2 Slot Sets the graphics card on the PCIEX8 slot as the first display.
PCIe 3 Slot Sets the graphics card on the PCIEX4 slot as the first display.
PCI Sets the graphics card on the PCI slot as the first display
    Internal Graphics
Enables or disables the onboard graphics function. (Default: Enabled)

A little while ago I uninstalled the integrated card from device manager, checked delete drivers, rebooted to BIOS, disabled onboard graphics, and it successfully booted up. I also updated the Logitech drivers like you said. The intel driver you mentioned said I already had a newer version installed.

Anything else I should do for now? I'll certainly report back if/when it BSODs again.

Just got another BSOD. I had a game running in the background and was running Firefox. This one was a System Service Exception (win32k.sys)

    The dumpfile blames Probably caused by : win32k.sys ( win32k!_PostTransformableMessageExtended+2c3 )
When a Windows/system driver like win32k.sys is blamed when experiencing a BSOD

it's most likely not the problem. Most of the time further analysis is needed to determine the actual cause.

In the stackText I found win32k!NtUserPostMessage+0x130.
This could point to a faulting program/application in the user space.

The dumpfile also named PROCESS_NAME: CurseClient.ex. This belongs to Curse Client program a management application for games p.e. World of Warcraft. You mentioned that the Bsod mostly happened while playing World of Warcraft

So it might be that this program is not compatible with windows 8.1. The latest version is v5. Which version are you using.
The above is more of less a quess of mine.
It might also be that this program is using a driver on the background which is crashing. Maybe network related. Please check if all your drivers are windows 8.1 compatible.

Please update these older drivers. Links are includedto assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please consider it could be a possible BSOD cause or remove (un-install) theprogram responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driveras it may make the system unbootable! :

Note:firs tcheck the support/driver downloadsite of your OEM model or system(mainboard) for the latest windows 8.1 drivers.
