Hello everyone.

Just read the threads of others regarding with the same title and nothing helped me out. Am now posting my own thread so I could know and be specific with the problems occurring on my desktop.

This is the only game I play and it is giving me problems.

Kindly help a troubled gamer in desperate times.

Much thanks.

Ensure you have all WindowsUpdates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your only dumpfile did not point to anything specific , BugCheck 50, {fffff800b2f72588, 0, fffff802b2e084d9, 2}

Could not read faulting driver name
Probably caused by : ntkrnlmp.exe ( nt!PpmIdlePrepare+a1 )

When a Windows/system driver like ntkrnlmp.exe is blamed when experiencing a BSOD
it's most likely not the problem. Most of the time further analysis is needed to determine the actual cause.

Your videocard drivers are from 2012, please update to the latest version,
You have a ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series, you need the legacy drivers, info here http://www.eightforums.com/graphic-cards/6534-latest-amd-catalyst-graphics-driver-windows-8-a.html

lifetec... thanks for your advice.

Am downloading the new driver.

Should a remove all catalyst ATI software before installing the new graphics driver? Have read on other threads that is the way to go. The software's name is
AMDCatalystTwLCleanerv3.9.2.7z and made by TWL. Is it also safe to use?

Also have have these PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA or ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY. They always show a small font size referring to a driver like atikmdag.sys. That was the latest BSOD said which is in the packet (
PC001A-Fri_05_09_2014_123651_78.zip).

Will update my Windows 8. Should it be running on 8.1 too?

Much thanks.

Got the driver and have not installed it yet.

1. Need your advice on this driver cleaner AMDCatalystTwLCleanerv3.9.2 by TWL.

2. Keeps on crashing even though not playing LOL anymore. Attached is the new BSOD report.

Thanks again.

In response to your PM asking for my help.

I do not use driver cleaners, therefore I cannot recommend any.
I prefer to use uninstallers and manual removals (if needed).

The only memory dump in the uploaded files dates from July 20, 2013
Please do the following:
- open Event Viewer (run eventvwr.msc from the "Run" dialog))
- expand the Custom Views category (left click on the > next to the words "Custom Views")
- right click on Administrative Events
- select "Save all Events in Custom View as..."
- save the file as Admin.evtx
- zip up the file (right click on it, select "Send to", select "Compressed (zipped) folder")
- upload it with your next post (if it's too big, then upload it to a free file-hosting service and post a link here).

While waiting for a reply, please monitor your temps with this free utility: HWMonitor CPUID - System & hardware benchmark, monitoring, reporting

Also, start with these free hardware diagnostics: Hardware Diagnostics

Finally, as you've cited a Driver IRQL error, I'd suggest running Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings
As the system isn't collecting memory dumps, you'll have to be very careful to write down ALL the info from the BSOD's.

Hi John. Thanks for the prompt assistance.

Please find the attached Admin.evtx on this reply.

Also already installed the HWMonitor. Below shows as stated.

Would do your suggestions on running diagnostics and driver verifier. *Should I install the new AMD ATI 4650 driver before running the driver verifier? It says on the DXDIAG (Image shown below) that it doesn't have the WHQL. Also atiumdag and atikmdag always shows during the BSOD with PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA or ATTEMPTED_WRITE_TO_READONLY_MEMORY.

Hundreds of security-spp errors in the Admin event log

I'd suggest this first:
Then please run the following DISM commands to see if there's any problems with the system (from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt). Press Enter after each one:
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Code:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

FYI - I have repaired systems using the last command even though problems weren't found with the first 2 - so I suggest running them all.

From this article: Repair a Windows Image

You can also run sfc.exe /scannow from an elevated (Run as administrator) Command Prompt to check for further corruption.
Then see if the errors have stopped. If not, then proceed with the steps at the following links:

I have uploaded a file that contains the tasks (from my system) described in the following links. As with any download from the internet, please scan it with an antivirus prior to opening it.

It's usually best to remove all traces of previous video drivers before installing new one's
There are exceptions, so read the documentation carefully.
