And boom goes the dynamite. In the middle of a game last night and it happened again. I had to get back into game (Ranked game, was important) so I just powered my laptop down and restarted. So there was no minidump created.

    *whimper*

This is getting to be ridiculous... My baby is intermittently sick.

Could you post a new SF.zip.
Hopefully there is a new dumpfile.

Also i could check if your system still has other old drivers which could give problems or are not compatible.

But my feeling says it is probably your Logitech Mouse.
Did you update or could you find new windows 8/8.1 drivers as mentioned in my first reply
You have a Logitech mouse and keyboard both with drivers from 2009 please upload this to windows 8 compatible drivers.

The last time this happened, I didn't get a proper BSoD, as I didn't have time to wait for the crash report to be saved, so I just powered my laptop down and restarted. I know... I know, I should have waited.

As far as the Logitech mouse goes, I have the latest drivers available on their website....

    Anyway, here's the latest SF*.zip

    Thanks again for your help!

This might indeed be a hardware faillure. Also because of the mentioning of HAL.dll in a few dumpfiles.

It might be your dongle of your Logitech mouse. Because when you switched the dongle to the other side of your laptop , you temporally had no problems. Maybe there are some lose connections in the dongle.

I found this message on the internet.

My third issue was that my Logitech wireless mouse dongle (the transmitter) was broken and intermittently causing blue screens when the Logitech manager was installed. After I uninstalled the Logitech manager, my laptop would simply restart without warning. I was able to reproduce the same behavior on a workstation when I plugged the dongle into my other computer. Simple fix - replace the mouse.

After nearly a week without problem, it happened again!

I was in lobby for a game of league, talking to a friend over Skype (My headset is bluetooth, Turtle Beach PX51) and it just froze. Here's the dumpfile.

Did it twice again in quick succession. I was in a ranked game and didn't feel like waiting the ~5 minutes for Windows to build it's "I went full derp" log files. It ONLY seems to happen when I'm in a Skype call using my bluetooth headset. I disabled bluetooth in device manager altogether. Maybe it will fix the problem.

Turtle Beach PX51 is designed for working on PS3 and Xbox.
The PX51, XP510, PX4, XP400, PX5, XP500, Tango, X-Ray, Delta, and Phantom headsets were designed for use with PS3 and Xbox 360 game consoles. It is only possible to use these headsets on a PC or Mac if you have the correct configuration and hardware. We recommend using one of our many PC compatible models instead, such as the PX3 or Z300.
Looking on their website i found possible workaround/using for pc here Using on PC: PX51, XP510, PX4, XP400, PX5, XP500, Tango, X-Ray, Phantom - Turtle Beach :: Knowledgebase

And some downloads for PX 51 here Turtle Beach :: Knowledgebase - Files - HEADSETS

Maybe you could find a solution.

My monitor has Optical audio out, which I use to power the not-communications part of the headset. I use bluetooth for skype.

After disabling bluetooth, the error has yet to resurface.

Thinking about it... I've had my wireless crawl to a standstill a couple of times while I was using it (versus a wired connection) and my bluetooth headset at the same time. Turning off my headset caused the wireless problems to disappear...

Faulty bluetooth module? Or bad drivers?

    Win8.1Pro - Finally!!!

Just my 2 - old bluetooth drivers will spit these errors. Those from before 8.1 came out (26 Oct 2013) are generally problematic when dealing with 8.1 - so you MUST update to 8.1 compatible bluetooth drivers (I didn't check yours to see if they were 8.1 compatible).

You'll see the bluetooth problem commonly paired with USB errors
I suspect the xHCI errors were due to this also - combined with the switch in where you plugged the bluetooth module in. At one point you'd switched if from side to side - the xHCI thing would have popped up because of issues with the USB 3

If the module is faulty, you can test it by trying it on another system.

The bluetooth module is built into the laptop. It can't be removed.
