BSOD Connecting to the internet, error IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQU

Hi there,

I have got a error, sometimes it happens when I connect to the internet, sometimes when I have been browsing. It does not occur when i am not connected to the internet.

Steps I Have Tried

Safe Mode With Networking (Still get a BSOD)
Updating All Drivers
Tried to verify the drivers which resulted in BSOD's In itself with no log
Checking for Virus's Using an alternate scanner
Running CCcleaner
Re-Installing All Programs Minus Windows (Trying to avoid this as much as possible, like the plague as i only just refreshed this PC several months ago)

I have searched long and hard for a solution and outside of re-installing windows i have not found anything

I have attached the .ZIP file as instructed by your initial forum. Please bear in mind there is only one file in minidump for my BSOD Logs as i accidentally cleared it with CCleaner

Any Help Would be Much Appreciated

They most likely belong to your Broadcom Memory Reader/Stick device.

The WER section of MSINFO32 shows one video crash (STOP 0x117) and many (14) crashes due to wireless networking drivers (athwbx.sys). The lone memory dump shows this driver (athwbx.sys) also, along w/hal.dll - which, IME, usually means a hardware or compatibility problem.

So, the first step is to:
- download a fresh copy of the latest, Win8.1 compatible wireless drivers
- uninstall the current wireless drivers and software from your system
- install the freshly downloaded drivers
- monitor for further BSOD's

Second is to update your Bluetooth drivers to the latest, Win8.1 compatible version (Windows 8 bluetooth drivers don't work well with Windows 8.1).

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, please remove (un-install) the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! :

No worries shall do tommorow evening, I thought the drivers provided by ACER were the. Est and most stable ones to use, clearly this is not the case, thanks very much for the links, this is much appreciated. If you were in Melbourne I'd buy you a carton

For future reference where is the best place to find up to date drivers for my PC?

The best place to find drivers is from the manufacturer of the device (as long as the PC manufacturer hasn't modified them).
This happens most often to video drivers.

The easiest place would be the Acer support website - as long as they offer 8.1 drivers for your system (NOT 8 drivers, you must be able to select Win8.1 as the OS).

Start with the Acer site and see what you're able to get. Then, if the BSOD's continue, we'll move on to the individual manufacturer's.
