    browsers crashing occasional BSOD

my brother brought over a burned dvd on easter, played fine, nothing weird happened. the next day BSODs like woah, firefox and chrome crashing at random intervals. i tried system restore, it seems to have decreased the frequency of blue screens but they still happen and the browsers crash just as often. i'm pretty sure i'm running windows 7 (i know nothing about computers) i'm not a hundred percent sure the DVD was the culprit, but its a big coincidence if its not. hopefully i did the diagnostic thing right, i'll try and upload. earlier something strange happened where i had no sound, could not open the volume menu, tried to click shut down, nothing happened. had to give the old power button smothering to restart and now it seems okay.

so i used this program called whocrashedit and its saying ...well things like this
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\042614-38735-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75BC0)
    Bugcheck code: 0x1A (0x41790, 0xFFFFFA800171B0D0, 0xFFFF, 0x0)
    Error: MEMORY_MANAGEMENT
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that a severe memory management error occurred.
This might be a case of memory corruption. More often memory corruption happens because of software errors in buggy drivers, not because of faulty RAM modules.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

    and this
On Sat 4/26/2014 5:20:11 AM GMT your computer crashed
    crash dump file: C:\Windows\Minidump\042614-42650-01.dmp
This was probably caused by the following module: ntoskrnl.exe (nt+0x75BC0)
    Bugcheck code: 0x50 (0xFFFFFA81813AF0F0, 0x0, 0xFFFFF80002D0E4A6, 0x5)
    Error: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
    file path: C:\Windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
    product: Microsoft® Windows® Operating System
    company: Microsoft Corporation
    description: NT Kernel & System
Bug check description: This indicates that invalid system memory has been referenced.
This appears to be a typical software driver bug and is not likely to be caused by a hardware problem.
The crash took place in the Windows kernel. Possibly this problem is caused by another driver that cannot be identified at this time.

First to be sure that installing the DVD is a big coincidense and has nothing to do with the BSODs, install AntiMalwarebytes free info and download here https://www.malwarebytes.org/free/ to check if the system is not infected with malware, virus, rootkits etc.

Out of your 12 dumpfiles 9 point to memory( Bugcheck 50 3x, Bugcheck 1A 3x ) or your ATigraphiccard (Bugcheck 3B, Bugcheck 116).

Start with testing your memory with memtest86+.
Because your graphiccard is also mentioned also test the (memory) videocard with Furmark.
The tests can be found here Diagnostics on John Caronna great site with info about BSOD.

If the test won't blame your memory or your graphiccard .
I suggest, because you are running windows 7, to make a new post on the windows 7 forum.
