Hey,
My Msi Ge70 2oe is 5 moths old and i got several BSODs since purchase. i updated most drivers in April, still got 6xBSOD this month.
Most of them System_Service_Exception and addressing ntoskrnl.exe+59769. idk what that means, think have some really bad drivers:confused: it happens mostly using chrome.
Using manufacturers Live update 5 to update, although not installed some optional like norton internet security.
Checked memtest and windows memmory test programs, nothing unusual.
Dump files below, thanks in advance.

Any particular reason that you have not updated to Win8.1 yet? I'm asking in case you had problems doing this.

Only 136 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

These devices have problems in Device Manager:
Ethernet Denetleyicisi PCI\VEN_1969&DEV_E091&SUBSYS_10E71462&REV_13\4&2637E32C&0&00E3 The drivers for this device are not installed.

Realtek Bluetooth 4.0 + High Speed Chip USB\VID_13D3&PID_3394\00E04C000001 This device is disabled.
Please install the drivers for the Ethernet (wired) device. Did you deliberately disable the Bluetooth? If so, why?

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disk-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Out of 17 memory dumps there were 7 different BSOD error codes. The differing error codes are usually symptomatic of a lower level problem within the system. They are usually caused by one of these things:
- borked (broken) hardware (several different procedures used to isolate the problem device)
- BIOS issues (check for updates at the motherboard manufacturer's website)
- overclocking/overheating - You'll know if you're overclocking or not. If uncertain we can suggest things to check.
- compatibility issues (3rd party hardware/drivers)
- low-level driver problems
- or even malware (scanned for when we ask for hardware diagnostics from Initial Hardware Diagnostics or Hardware Diagnostics ).

You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

Please uninstall MSI Live Update (temporarily). Feel free to reinstall the latest, Win8 compatible version once the system has been stabilized.

1- Any particular reason that you have not updated to Win8.1 yet? I'm asking in case you had problems doing this.

2- Only 136 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

3- Please install the drivers for the Ethernet (wired) device. Did you deliberately disable the Bluetooth? If so, why?

4- Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).

5- You can get a head start on the hardware diagnostics if you'd like - they are located here: Hardware Diagnostics

6- Please uninstall MSI Live Update (temporarily). Feel free to reinstall the latest, Win8 compatible version once the system has been stabilized.

Hey,
Thanks for reply, ill be doing some hw diagnostics tonight as you suggested. im working on other subjects you mentioned too.
1- Theres no reason not ot update to 8.1, except im lazy, ihavent tried yet. if i encounter anymore BSODs ill post here and consider 8.1 seriously.
2- i did all windows updates now, 163 total.
3- ihave also installed killer network drivers and activated BT device. Somewhere i read about Quallcomm atheros killer network drivers have disconnecting issues, thats why i totally removed them, nvm installed now. About BT, i never used once sice purchase, so switched off in ''system control manager - SCM'' utility. Now activated.
4- i have removed daemon tools and chose uninstall SPTDinst utility.
5- im doing all HW diagnostics now, will keep informed on this post if any bad results.
6- OK removed Msi live update 5, getting drivers manually from MSI Global GE70 2OE

Cheers.

The problems that I've seen with Killer drivers (especially on MSI systems) is that the Killer Network Manager will cause crashes. Be sure that you have the very latest version (from late Jan/early Feb 2014 or later).

Otherwise, let's just wait and see what happens......
