Hi EightForums!

To add to the BSOD info, this just happened to me once and it was while watching YouTube (hence me mentioning it in the title). My laptop was borrowed for a few weeks by a relative. I dont know if she experienced BSODs while it was in her possession. I will be doing malware scans, update programs & windows plus drivers, cleanups, and etc also. My full system specs are found below and Diasnostic results. Once again THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO ALL THE STAFF and MEMBERS of Seven & Eight Forums for the AMAZING COMMUNITY in ALL ASPECTS! :thumb: :D

Sorry for the delay in responding. There just aren't that many people who do BSOD analysis, so at times we get a bit overwhelmed!
FYI - replying to your own topic makes it look like it's being read - so it moves you up in the queue, delaying a response.

Is there any reason that you haven't installed Win8.1 yet? I only ask to see if there were problems with it.

Only 126 Windows Updates installed. Most systems have 160 or more. Please visit Windows Update and get ALL available updates (it may take several trips to get them all).

Your Bluetooth is disabled. Is this deliberate? If so, why?

Daemon Tools (and Alcohol % software) are known to cause BSOD's on some Windows systems (mostly due to the sptd.sys driver, although I have seen dtsoftbus01.sys blamed on several occasions).
Please un-install the program, then use the following free tool to ensure that the troublesome sptd.sys driver is removed from your system (pick the 32 or 64 bit system depending on your system's configuration): New link (15 Aug 2012): DuplexSecure - Downloads (pick the appropriate version for your system and select "Un-install" when you run it).
Alternate link: Disk-Tools.com
Manual procedure here: Registry and SPTD problems | DAEMON Pro Help

Please update these older drivers. Links are included to assist in looking up the source of the drivers. If unable to find an update, DO NOT uninstall the program responsible for that driver. DO NOT manually delete/rename the driver as it may make the system unbootable! Just let us know and we'll move on with the analysis:

If all of this doesn't stop the BSOD's, please run Driver Verifier according to these instructions: Driver Verifier Settings

First of all, I FULLY 100% that BSOD analyzing takes so much time and I am sorry for my impatience sir. I just got so worried when the BSOD happened  Please forgive me... To answer all your questions sir:

1. Updating to Windows 8.1 can only be done through the Windows Store, am I right? But it doesnt appear on my Store and to add, I've heard that their have been lots of compatibility issues when upgrading to 8.1 even if the Compatibility Checker gives the go ahead (from what I've heard around the net)

2. I disabled my Bluetooth because I've applied the same principle with my smartphones that it can drain Battery faster. Please correct me sir if this is false

3. My laptop is up-to-date according to Windows Update

4. I will be uninstalling DAEMON Tools right now :)

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR TIME Sir usasma, God bless and more power to you :thumb:

DO NOT DO THIS YET:

If not, go to the Windows Store (the Store tile in the Start Screen) and install it. It should be the first choice.
If it's not there, download the update from here and install it: Update is available that prepares Windows 8 and Windows RT-based computers for the update to Windows 8.1 and Windows 8.1 RT
Reboot and the 8.1 Update will be the first thing that you see in the Store.

Feel free to do it once we've stopped the BSOD's

Disabling Bluetooth is OK for now - be sure to update it once you update to Win8.1

Good luck!
