I upgraded my HP M7360N with a Pentium D 2.8 with 2gb of ram to Windows 8 and then to 8.1. It hasn't been too bad except for the video card driver, but wanted to put 2gb more of ram in to help it out as it is a GeForce 6200 turbocache. I ordered 2 1GB pc4200 sticks which are the same as what I have in it. At first it wouldn't boot and had the ram replaced. It still didn't work and was about to send back for a refund but then put the 2 sticks in the original ram slots and it booted. Heartened I put the original ram in the 2 slots that were originally empty and then got an ACPI_BIOS_ERROR and it said it was gathering info but it never left 0%. I am updating bios right now but the fixes listed on the update didn't say anything that I saw would be related. What can I do to try and get the ram to work. Thanks in advance.
