Random bad_pool_caller

I randomly receive the BSOD along with the bad_pool_caller error on my HP laptop. It doesnot happen often, but its annoying when it does. The MS site states that it is caused by 3rd party anti virus programs and if I have one, to uninstall it by using the proper removal tools. Please advise. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. I see that the first step is: "1. If you have not already, then please follow this using step 6 there first: Dump Files - Configure Windows to Create on BSOD". To confirm I should go to this url link and follow the instructions in step 6; "6. To have Windows Create a Small memory dump (Minidump) File on BSOD"? This is confusing because it seems to be directing to me to a step midway through. Please advise.

I would first download the diagnostic tool and run it. (it can take up to 15 minutes )
IF it does not include the dumpfiles then you must do step 6 to create a small memory dump.
And run the diagnostic again when you have another BSOD.

Yes, use option one and use grab all.
Hopefully the dumpfile while be grabed also.
If not see 2 post above.
