Hi all,

I am getting random dpc watchdog violation crashes. I've been having this issue for about 3-4 months now. The crash is pretty random. I dont play game on my laptop so mostly crash when surfing the web/email/video. I've searched on the web and has tried various fix but cant seem to find the cause or solution. I am using Win 8.1 pro on Sony vaio VPCSA2FGX laptop with Crucial M4 256gb ssd.

From my research it seem that certain ssd firmware is not supported by win 8.1 or something like that. I've already updated the ssd with the latest firmware from Crucial. Once i did that it seem the crash went away for a few weeks. Now i'm getting the crash more frequently. I've tried to install video card driver too but no luck.

I dont know how to analyze crash dump so i'm hoping the experts here can help. Thanks.

I installed the new driver so we'll see. Will report back in a few days. Anything else you see in the log?

Thank you for your help.
