Hi Chris! and welcome to the forums :)

I am in the process of debugging your DUMP files and gathering some information. But, I think I would need some more DUMP files as the problem that one of the DUMP files is pointing towards an error in the hardware. Could you please upload the recent DUMP files other than these?

It is getting late for sleep, will reply tomorrow along with more info :)

Hi Chris,

Sorry for late reply as I got late for college :p .

I have analyzed the DUMP files provided by you and 3 out of 4 point towards the Kernel Security Check Failure which did not reveal much information as it pointed towards the internal components.

Now, the second last dump file revealed that it is an WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR (124) fault which is a hardware fault or machine check exception which on further tracing said that there was an Internal Clock Error with the CPU. So, if you are in case overclocking your system, please stop and revert back to the original settings. Once, the system has stabilized, you could resume your overclocking.

Now, one more thing that I noticed was that there is a presence of multiple storage controller drivers, many of which are ancient which means have the timestamp before the release of Windows 8 which means there are incomptability issues. Also, there is a chance that some of these drivers might be clashing with each other.

Secondly, on opening your System Event Log file, the entire file was filled with a single error i.e "An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk5\DR5 during a paging operation. Event id = 51" . This Harddisk 5 points towards your Samsung HDD which is currently the home for your operating system. This also, suggests that there might be problems with your HDD as well, so I would advise you on following this guide and reporting back :-

How to See if Your Hard Drive is Dying

I am listing the drivers which need to be updated as soon as possible :-
amdkmdag 6/18/2012 5:21:01 PM :- Driver Reference Table - amdkmafd.sys
amdsbs 12/1/2012 4:21:44 PM :- Driver Reference Table - amdsbs.sys
BackupReader 2/21/2011 11:59:15 PM :- Driver Reference Table - backupreader.sys
dot4.sys :- Driver Reference Table - dot4.sys
Dot4Print.sys
Dot4usb.sys :- Driver Reference Table - dot4usb.sys
e1yexpress.sys :- www.intel.com/support/network/sb/cs-006120.htm
GearASPIWDM.sys :-
Driver Reference Table
Iastorv.sys :- Driver Reference Table
lvrs64.sys :- Driver Reference Table - lvrs64.sys
lvuvc64.sys :- Driver Reference Table
nvraid.sys :- Driver Reference Table
nvstor.sys :- Driver Reference Table
secdrv.sys :- Driver Reference Table
sisraid2.sys & sisraid4.sys :- Driver Reference Table
stextor.sys :- Driver Reference Table
tap0901.sys :- Driver Reference Table - tap0901.sys
USBAAPL64.sys :- Driver Reference Table

All of your multiple storage drivers are out of date. Also, almost every driver in the driver list is of 2013, so I would suggest doing a full update using Windows Update first and then if the problem is still not resolved then follow the above steps. Do post back your results here :)

Also, I would request a senior to analyze the Dump files again in case I missed something.

Blueelvis, thank you for your analysis! First, let me say the system is not overclocked, so I do not think that is an issue. Second, the system was a clean install directly from the Windows 8 disk, then upgraded to 8.1. So, the drivers must have been installed by windows. Strange that they are older.

Attached please find a more recent dump file.

Also, the OS is installed on the C: drive (Sandisk SSD). "Harddisk 5 points towards your Samsung HDD" is an older install of Windows 7 that I was using the get backup files from. It is not the current OS drive, sorry for the confusion.

Windows Update reports:
There aren't any updates to download automatically, but you can install other updates.

The only one I see is the Bing Bar and Bing Desktop in the Optional updates. Nothing related to drivers.
